Build and maintain React/React Native front-end and Node.js/MySQL backend features, assist with app releases, and document daily updates. | Junior developer with experience in JavaScript, React, Node.js, REST APIs, Git, MySQL, Linux, and familiarity or eagerness to learn app store release processes. | Overview Map My Pay is hiring a Junior Full Stack Developer to help ship features across web and mobile. You’ll work on a React/React Native front end and a Node.js/MySQL API on AWS. This is part-time, remote, and hands-on. Role • Build UI in React (web) and React Native (iOS/Android). • Add and maintain Node.js REST endpoints. • Write/read MySQL queries (basic joins, indexes). • Use Git and PR reviews; debug with logs on Linux. • Assist with releases to App Store Connect and Google Play Console. • Document what you ship and post short daily updates. Must-have • Experience with JavaScript, React, Node.js, RESTful APIs • Git + Version control workflows • Basic MySQL and Linux comfort (CLI/SSH) • Clear written English and reliable internet • Familiar with App Store / Google Play release steps (or eager to learn fast) Nice to have • React Native, Next.js • AWS basics (EC2/RDS/S3/CloudWatch) • CI/CD (GitHub Actions), Crashlytics/Sentry Compensation & schedule • $5/hour (USD), part-time 10–20 hrs/week, remote (global) • We comply with local wage laws.
