Role Summary Magnet Forensics is seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Security Automation & Incident Response Engineer to accelerate the maturity and efficiency of our security operations program. This resource will be responsible for optimizing and integrating Microsoft's security platform, reducing manual analyst workload, automating repetitive tasks, improving detection coverage, and enhancing incident response capabilities. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with deep experience in Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR, automation, and modern security operations. Role Overview We are seeking a strategic and customer-focused Director of Product Management to lead the Examination & Analysis domain across our digital forensics portfolio. This role is responsible for defining and driving the vision, strategy, and execution for forensic examination and investigative analysis workflows across desktop, cloud, hybrid, and platform-enabled environments. While the Magnet Axiom, a Magnet Flagship Product, remains a core responsibility, the scope of this role extends beyond a single product and focuses on the broader workflow, capability, and platform ecosystem supporting digital investigations. The ideal candidate brings strong product leadership experience, deep customer empathy, and the ability to align cross-functional teams around a shared strategic direction. This leader will help evolve the portfolio toward more connected workflows, shared capabilities, and scalable analysis experiences while partnering closely with centralized AI leadership to apply AI in ways that meaningfully improve examiner and investigator outcomes. Reporting to the VP of Product Management, this role will lead a team of Product Managers and collaborate closely with Engineering, UX, GTM, Customer Success, and executive leadership to deliver impactful customer and business outcomes. What You'll Do • Define and execute the long-term vision and strategy for the Examination & Analysis domain. • Drive workflow and JTBD-oriented product strategy focused on investigator and examiner outcomes. • Identify opportunities for shared capabilities, workflow integration, platform evolution, and portfolio convergence. • Balance near-term customer needs with long-term strategic and architectural direction. • Partner with centralized AI leadership to deliver impactful Agentic investigative capabilities. What We’re Looking For • 10+ years of Product Management experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role. • Proven experience leading complex technical product portfolios in digital forensics, cybersecurity, enterprise software, SaaS, or adjacent domains. • Strong understanding of workflow-driven product strategy, platform thinking, and capability-oriented portfolio management. • Experience leading initiatives across desktop, cloud, hybrid, or platform-enabled environments. • Strong strategic thinking, communication, stakeholder management, and organizational leadership skills. • Experience applying emerging technologies, including AI-assisted capabilities, to solve customer workflow challenges is preferred. • Experience working with Law Enforcement, Government, or regulated investigative environments is preferred but not required. • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business-related field required; advanced degree preferred. Working Conditions • Hybrid or remote work environment in Canada or the US • 20-25% travel required, which could include international travel Compensation & Benefits The Compensation range is for the primary location for which the job is posted.
