Identify and develop new business opportunities in the automotive testing sector, build client relationships, and coordinate with marketing and internal teams. | Proven B2B sales or business development experience in the automotive or transportation testing sectors, with knowledge of CRM systems and ability to travel. | About the Company Mackinnon Bruce International are partnered with a growing automotive testing services business in the USA. My client offers services across a wide portfolio of testing and analysis services including automotive components, battery testing and fuel system testing. Location Novi, Michigan About the Role My client is looking for a motivated Business Development Executive with direct B2B sales experience in the automotive testing industry, who has the proven ability to identify strategic business opportunities, develop client relationships and increase my client's market presence. Responsibilities • Identify and secure new business within the automotive testing sectors. • Establish and develop relationships with prospective clients in the industry, taking the time to understand their requirements and what services potentially align as a solution. • Travel to clients both locally and nationally, attend industry conference and exhibitions as well as trade shows to promote both the business and the services whilst developing and expanding your network. • Work closely with internal marketing teams to develop marketing campaigns. • Use CRM systems to maintain sales records and develop accurate sales forecasts. Qualifications • Proven experience of sales/business development in the automotive/transportation testing sectors. • Minimum of 3+ years of sales/business development experience. • Knowledge of the automotive/transportation testing sectors in the USA. • Ability to use CRM systems.
