This role is responsible for enabling disciplined execution across the organization by owning demand visibility data, reporting infrastructure and coordination processes that support planning, sourcing and value delivery. Job Summary The Category Manager for Raw Materials is responsible for developing, implementing , and managing sourcing strategies for raw material categories that support company operations. The role focuses on managing expenditures negotiated, optimizing total cost of ownership, ensuring supply continuity, driving value through market intelligence, and effectively managing relationships with key business, manufacturing partners, and strategic supplier contacts. This role will be located at San Luis Potosí, México, reporting tu the US. Some travel to the United States may be required. You Bring This Value Minimum Qualifications • Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain, inventory planning, production planning, logistics, manufacturing, or related operations. • Demonstrated leadership experience, including direct people leadership or significant cross-functional leadership of planning, transformation, or operational improvement initiatives. • Working knowledge of inventory management, supply planning, order fulfillment, production constraints, service level performance, working capital, and cost tradeoffs. • Experience using ERP, planning, reporting, or data analysis tools to support operational decision-making; SAP experience is preferred. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to translate large data sets and business inputs into clear actions, risks, and recommendations. • Excellent interpersonal, stakeholder management, and written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence across Commercial, Manufacturing, Logistics, Customer Service, Finance, and Supply Chain teams. • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment requiring prioritization, escalation, task delegation, and timely decisions with direct impact on business results.
