Provides administrative support focusing on accounts payable, payroll, recordkeeping, and grant-related functions. | Requires two years of administrative experience, proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office, strong organizational skills, and discretion with confidential information. | Part-Time Administrative Assistant Reports To: Director of Operations Position Type: Part-Time (15-20 hours per week, flexible based on need) Location: Lubbock Habitat for Humanity Position Summary Lubbock Habitat for Humanity is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support the Director of Operations and assist with daily organizational functions. This position plays a key role in maintaining efficient office operations through administrative support, accounts payable processing, payroll assistance, grant support, recordkeeping, and other operational tasks as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Assist with accounts payable processing, including invoice management, bill payment preparation, and vendor communication. • Maintain organized financial and administrative records. • Assist with payroll processing and employee documentation while maintaining confidentiality. • Support data entry and reporting functions as assigned. • Assist with grant research, grant writing efforts, and grant reporting requirements. • Provide general administrative support to the Director of Operations and team as needed • Support special projects and perform other day-to-day operational tasks as directed by the Director of Operations. Qualifications • Two years of administrative or office support experience preferred, experience with Quickbooks online • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Compensation and Benefits Hourly wage based on qualifications and experience, flexible part-time schedule, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community.
