Check out our website at: https://longtermtec.com/about-us/ Position Summary: LTS is seeking a Senior Teamcenter/PLM Consultant for contract‑based project support. This role is ideal for an independent consultant or a consulting firm with strong Teamcenter expertise and robust IT/networking skills. You will support implementation, configuration, upgrades, troubleshooting, and optimization of Teamcenter environments for our clients. This engagement may involve multiple ongoing assignments and offers the potential for repeat project work based on performance. Engagement Model (C2C / External Consultant / Engineering Firm): This opportunity is available exclusively to external consultants, engineering service firms, or C2C vendors. o Corp‑to‑Corp (C2C) highly preferred; 1099 independent contractors also welcome. o Work will be structured under a Statement of Work (SOW) with defined deliverables, timelines, and milestones. o Ideal for vendors experienced in project‑based PLM delivery supporting U.S. manufacturing or automotive customers. o Must be able to support U.S. Eastern Time (EST) for collaboration and client meetings. Key Responsibilities: Teamcenter Administration, Implementation, and Support: o Lead the full lifecycle of our Teamcenter environment, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and migrations. o Administer user accounts, access control, security policies, and data model configurations. o Troubleshoot and resolve Teamcenter issues promptly and efficiently. o Gather and document business requirements for PLM implementations. o Design, configure, and implement Teamcenter workflows, processes, and customizations. o Manage and support key Teamcenter modules and related products such as Rich Client, Active Workspace, Deployment Center, and Dispatcher. o Perform data migrations and ensure data integrity. o Conduct user training and provide ongoing support. IT Infrastructure and Networking: o Support and optimize clients’ environments supporting Teamcenter. o Configure and troubleshoot IT and network components (LAN, VPN, Tunnels). o Resolve connectivity and integration issues in distributed systems. o Improve and stabilize integration between Teamcenter and CAD/ERP tools. Collaboration and Technical Leadership: o Work closely with LTS engineering and delivery teams and with client stakeholders to understand the clients’ needs and translate them into technical solutions. o Act as a technical mentor and future team lead as we scale up operations. o Contribute to hiring, on-boarding, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. Qualifications and Experience: Required: o 5+ years of hands-on Teamcenter experience directly with administration, implementation & support. o Deep understanding of Teamcenter architecture, workflows, security and data model. o Experience with Rich Client, Active Workspace, Deployment Center and Dispatcher. o Strong IT and networking background (LAN, VPN, Tunnels, connectivity troubleshooting). o Experience in troubleshooting complex systemse (hardware + software). o Scripting experience (automation, configuration) o Excellent communication skills – verbal and written. Preferred: o Experience with Teamcenter customization (e.g., ITK, Java, C++). o Experience with other PLM or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle Agile PLM, Aras Innovator, Windchill). o Familiarity with Siemens NX and other Siemens software. o Experience with data migration strategies and tools. o Experience supporting Teamcenter in automotive, mobility, aerospace, or high‑volume manufacturing environments (OEM or Tier 1/Tier 2 suppliers) is a plus.
