Provide patient and parent support including scheduling, payment processing, answering inquiries, and assisting dental office staff at multiple locations. | Customer service experience, strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, willingness to travel between locations, and positive attitude. | We are seeking a Patient Care Coordinator for our progressive specialty practice in pediatric dentistry & Orthodontics. Duties include: • Providing exceptional care to patients and parents. • Greeting, checking-in and checking-out patients. • Handling new and existing patient inquiries. • Collecting and posts patient payments. • Working orthodontic system as well as pediatric system. • Answering incoming phone calls and emails, relaying information and requests accurately, and delivering messages as needed. • Scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling patient appointments. • Providing support to dental office staff and assisting other Patient Care Coordinators as needed. • Verifying that patient files are up-to-date with finances, orthodontic clearance letters, and insurance coverage. • Positively and proactively handling patient concerns and prioritizing multiple tasks. • Learning new procedures and processes within a dental office. • Opening/closing office daily This position is the first point of contact for our patients and their parents. The right candidate must possess excellent verbal and written skills, be people-oriented, have the desire to grow with our company, and be comfortable interacting with pediatric and adult patients. Customer service experience preferred. A radiating, positive attitude is a must! You will be required to travel to our Claremont & South Pasadena locations whenever coverage is needed. During the training period through November, the candidate will primarily report to the South Pasadena location.
