The Vice President of Legal and Compliance will be the Chief Compliance Officer/General Counsel's first hire, and will directly support in updating, maintinaing, and implementing the program, ensuring compliance will all rules and regulations. This role will be performed on a hybrid schedule in NYC. With $33Bn+ AUM and no signs of slowing down their growth, this firm takes a thematic and operational approach to invest in businessess built around innovative technologies and solutions. The VP Legal and Compliance will be involved in all aspects of the program, including reviewing marketing materials, regulatory filings, manage restricted lists, assist with exams, Code of Ethics administration and oversee vendor relationships. Requirements : • 6+ years of relevant compliance experience • Bachelors Degree required, JD a plus • Experience with private markets, PE a plus • Knowledge of SEC rules and regulations • Ability to work autonomously and take initiative, team player, excellent communicator and high sense of professionalism
