Job Summary The following duties are normal for this position; however, they are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. Essential Duties and Other Responsibilities • Oversee the clinical study quote submission process and timelines to exceed customer expectations and facilitate an efficient, high quality, accurate, and timely submission for the assigned team's tasks. • Provide mentoring, guidance, and training to Proposal Management team members relevant to their assigned deliverables. • Perform a quality and financial review of quotations for new and revision quote requests using the company's pricing tools and matrices prior to submission for final approval, when required. • Make pricing recommendations to align study quotes with company financial goals. • Participate in strategy and budget review calls. • Assist in monitoring pricing practices to determine accuracy and relevance to study type and operational processes. • Make strategic recommendations on desirable proposals, based on established financial and operational criteria. • Participate in cross-functional teams empowered to improve the quality and timeliness of the bid submissions. • Follow up with Business Development Directors to ensure that clinical study quotes are complete and answer their need. • Assist with the preparation of Business Development presentations, when requested. • Update CRM database, as needed, and ensure accuracy of departmental information. • Act as an expert resource to internal and external customers. • Participate in Commercial Finance initiatives, when requested. • Assist in preparation of departmental reports, as assigned. • Perform all other related duties, as assigned. Education/Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent in science, business, or marketing related discipline, 5 years customer service or related experience. Experience in a contract research and/or research setting preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above. Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic IT Business Analyst to join our team to usher our company into a bold new chapter defined by innovation and technology. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will analyze business requirements, translate them into functional technical specifications, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful IT solutions aligned with our technology roadmap. They will also be part of a critical role collaborating with our teams for process optimization, data integrity, and technology-driven improvements that enhance operational efficiency and support long-term business objectives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Work with the Business Analyst Team Lead to align priorities, share insights, and ensure analysis efforts are strategically focused and effectively executed. • Execute business analysis activities based on roadmap priorities established by the leadership and steering committee. • Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to define and refine unified data models for consistent KPI reporting • Translate business requirements into clear, actionable user stories and functional specifications. • Collaborate closely with developers, Subject Matter Experts, and QA Testers to ensure requirements and design for alignment with our overall technology Roadmap. • Communicate technical and analytical insights to stakeholders at all levels, translating complex data into actionable business recommendations. • Function as the liaison between business, developers, and project management groups. • Present and evaluate design solutions objectively and facilitate conflict resolution. • Work closely with the Process Excellence team to strategize solutions that support long term business objectives and prepare detailed flow charts and diagrams outlining systems capabilities and processes. • Collaborate with QA testing team to ensure testing efforts validate intended business outcomes and user needs. • Analyzes and evaluates existing and proposed systems to identify gaps between current capabilities and future-state requirements. • Collaborate with development teams to coordinate and support software release activities. • Attend regular meetings and work closely with other departments and Business Analysts to share information, solve problems, and support company goals. • Performs other related duties and tasks as necessary or as assigned. Education and Experience: • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience • 2+ years of experience in Systems Analysis or IT Development • 2+ years of experience in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) • 2+ years of experience translating business requirements into detailed system specifications • 2+ years of experience mapping data from web services or database to user interface • Proficiency with MS Project, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint • Clinical trials or related industry experience • Experience working with test plans and test cases preferred • Experience working in an Agile environment or familiarity with Agile methodology preferred • Power BI experience preferred Skills and Ability: • Ability to interpret complex business needs and translate them into actionable technical requirements. • Strong understanding of system architecture, data mapping, and integration concepts. • Skilled at conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa. • Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, and business stakeholders. • Ability to identify gaps, propose solutions, and facilitate conflict resolution.
