Salary • $23.50 per hour • 2 nd shift differential is $1.50 per hour / 3 rd shift differential is $2.00 per hour • You will have the ability to increase your compensation based on skills and contribution to the overall performance of the plant. • This role is eligible for our Performance Pay program that could offer up to a 6% quarterly bonus. Shift • Currently hiring for 2 nd and 3 rd shift • Only candidates who are available to work either shift will be considered. • This may include overtime, holidays, and weekends. • Orientation will be on 1 st shift (7am-3pm), and you will be assigned your permanent shift approximately 30 days later. • Milford operates on a point based attendance program. Shift Hours • 1 st shift: Monday - Friday 7am-3pm; weekends and overtime as needed • 2 nd shift: Monday - Friday 3pm-11pm; weekends and overtime as needed • 3 rd shift: Monday - Friday 11pm-7am; weekends and overtime as needed Our Team Machine Operators play an integral part in maintaining the success of the plant by providing coverage and support for various machine centers throughout the plant. What You Will Do • Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets • Monitor and/or entry into computer control systems • Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production • Perform basic asset care duties to include routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of work area • Work as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals • Operate and/or work around mobile equipment Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) • 6+ months experience operating production machinery • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance What Will Put You Ahead • Experience using a computer, tablet, or smart device • One (1) year or more experience working in a manufacturing and/or industrial environment • Experience working in the corrugated packaging industry Other Considerations/Physical Requirements • Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment • Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day, in a loud/noisy, and industrial, high-volume environment For this role, we anticipate paying $23.50 per hour.
