Manage SAP invoice blocking issues, supplier setup, price updates, inventory reconciliation, bid preparation, vendor invoice validation, and purchasing policy enforcement independently. | Experience with SAP invoice processing, supplier management, bid and RFQ preparation, vendor invoice reconciliation, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. | • Investigate blocked invoices in SAP and inform management of why they are blocking. • Provide training on SAP as needed. Pursue opportunities with training and experience to utilize SAP more effectively within the department and the company • Maintain the New Supplier process by obtaining appropriate approvals and setting up supplier in SAP. • Assist in updating price changes in SAP • Assist in reconciling off site storage inventory. • Prepare and maintain open order reports. • Prepares all aspects of simple bids, requests for quotes, and proposals, including precise specifications, supporting spreadsheets, comparisons, recommendations, and justifications. • Maintains records in accordance with established policies and procedures and audit guidelines. • Validate and reconcile vendor invoices, and other payment documents in the SAP system. • Monitors requisition entry inconsistencies, enforces company purchasing policies and informs management of deviations when appropriate. • Utilize the Fairmarkit platform to Identify and develop reductions in purchasing costs, through reduction in total vendors, contract negotiations, and reduction in purchase orders. • Ensure all communications are professional, timely and appropriately handled using the best medium, for both internal and external correspondence. • Works with little supervision and manages day to day activities independently.
