Engineers work closely with quantitative researchers, portfolio stakeholders, and distributed technology teams to deliver resilient, enterprise-grade solutions. The Role The organization is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help architect and develop mission-critical distributed systems supporting portfolio implementation and investment operations. This individual will contribute heavily to system design, scalability initiatives, engineering best practices, and modernization efforts across a high-throughput microservices environment. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop scalable portfolio and trading-related systems capable of processing large volumes of data and analytical outputs • Build and maintain distributed, microservice-oriented applications operating in highly available production environments • Lead architectural discussions and contribute to technical direction for performance-sensitive systems • Deliver complex initiatives spanning multiple teams and services • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, code reviews, and engineering guidance to other developers • Partner cross-functionally with engineering, research, and business stakeholders to deliver robust solutions • Drive reliability, observability, scalability, and operational improvements across core platforms Required Background • Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline • 7+ years of software engineering experience with strong expertise in Java • Strong hands-on Python development experience • Experience designing and operating large-scale distributed systems • Strong understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems • Experience with technologies such as Elasticsearch, Redis, RabbitMQ/AMQ, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server • Strong understanding of software engineering best practices including automated testing, code reviews, documentation, and performance optimization • Experience monitoring and tuning production systems for scalability and reliability • Ability to lead technical initiatives and drive delivery across complex environments • Strong communication and collaboration skills across distributed teams Preferred Qualities • Strong technical leadership and ownership mindset • Comfortable operating within ambiguous, fast-moving environments • Ability to mentor and guide engineers while remaining hands-on technically • Collaborative and solutions-oriented approach • Interest in financial systems, quantitative platforms, or investment technology environments

Manage and coordinate large-scale technical learning programs, collaborate with SMEs and vendors, analyze learning data, and drive learner engagement. | 5+ years experience in learning program management or related field, experience with external vendors, strong project management and communication skills, and proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel. | Hybrid, in Newark, NJ payrate 65 -75/hr The Learning Program Manager is an innovative, collaborative team member on the Global Technology & Operations (GTO) Learning Team. The ideal candidate is agile and intellectually curious, able to manage multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities while effectively navigating ambiguity and driving business outcomes with a learner centric mindset. The individual must be passionate about learning and enhancing learner engagement. Additionally, the ability to build outstanding and constructive working relationships with team members and foster an inclusive environment will be critical. This engagement will support our technical learning programs, as well as assist on team-specific projects that help drive engagement and adoption of our learning strategy. This role will project manage multiple learning initiatives and programs partnering with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs). The Learning Program Manager is responsible for program and project management, organization, promotion, and implementation of effective programmatic initiatives. This consultant has both analytical know-how and insight into human behavior. Day to Day responsibilities include: • Determines project tasks and milestones in collaboration with the Director, Technical Learning and external vendors. • Collaborate with subject matter experts and learning designers to help manage delivery of learning solutions. • Manages Certification program logistics, criteria, and reporting. • Reviews training program evaluations to determine program effectiveness and coordinate with leadership to derive insights and trends. • Project management of high-profile technical learning programs in partnership with technical vendors and internal business partners and SMEs. • Manages collection of metrics and analytics. • Creation of PPTs to be used to portray activation planning and project updates. • Periodically presents status to key stakeholders and leaders. • This job involves supporting both short- and long-term programs. • Partners with enterprise learning partners on LMS platform administration to ensure execution of platform administration duties and accountabilities. • Ensure seamless roll-out(s) of learning platforms and programs within teams and/or across Global Technology organization. • Manage and develop learning engagement strategies to drive interest and participation in learning programs across Global Technology, partnering with team to maintain or exceed participation / attendance rates. Experience and Qualifications: • 5 years of professional work experience or bachelor's degree in human resources administration, learning, business administration, Information Technology, instructional design, or a field related to the position. • MUST have demonstrated experience serving as a learning program manager on large scale technical program, or training deployment, working with external vendors. • Project or Event Management Certification a plus. • Familiar with instructional or learning technology. • Experience working with multiple external vendors and tools. • Ability to plan, undertake and finish activities to achieve high quality results within set deadlines. • Strong data analysis capabilities with ability to review and analyze learning data and derive insights. • Excellent organizational, coordination and project management skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: can articulate thoughts and ideas (technical and non-technical) clearly, concisely, and persuasively in a self-directed manner. • Expert level PowerPoint and Excel skills • Self-motivated with an ability to learn quickly and autonomously. • Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, adhere to project plans, and adapt to shift direction frequently.
