Job Description As a Field Service Technician – 100%, you will be responsible for performing and training on major component replacements and repair services as needed across the Invenergy fleet. Assure all operations and maintenance activities are performed in a safe manner consistent with established Invenergy policies and procedures. You should expect to travel away from home for 4-week intervals while returning home for a week of time off. Locations Included: • Must live in one of the following states: • Nebraska • New Mexico • Kansas • Oklahoma • Colorado • Texas Responsibilities • Collaboratively represent Invenergy and the Field Service Group to internal and external parties. • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in multiple equipment platforms • Train site personnel in Operations activities including:  Safety, Preventative Maintenance, Reactive Maintenance, and Ops Support System. • Lead teams to perform major component replacements and repairs on multiple equipment platforms and component manufacturers. • Troubleshoot complicated electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic problems • Understand electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic functions of multiple equipment platforms • Perform equipment and site inspections and compile associated reports. • Complete daily and monthly reporting requirements. • Write and revise procedures and documents on how to perform each component replacement. • Assure all activities are performed in a safe manner consistent with Invenergy policies and procedures. • Rotational position travel in 4 week intervals away from home while returning for a week off.   Required Skills • One (1) year technical experience (mechanical, electrical, etc.) and/or technical education. • High School diploma or equivalent • Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather, climb ladders without assistance. Ability to move and manipulate up to 45 kg (100 lbs.). • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record • Work at heights greater than 80 meters (250 feet) • Weight must not exceed 120 kg (265 lbs.) excluding equipment/gear worn when performing job related tasks.  • Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future   Preferred Skills • Two (2) years technical experience and/or technical education related to renewable energy systems. • Strong interest and understanding of electrical and mechanical systems. • Self-motivator • Experience in multiple platforms strongly preferred. • Ability to effectively use software systems to troubleshoot issues. • Ability to work safely, with limited supervision. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Experience in the use of Microsoft Office products. Base Pay $31.67 - $51.58 USD Hourly Bonus: 0% - 10% The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Job Description Position Overview As a SCADA Project Engineer, you will be on the construction team responsible for the engineering, procurement and commissioning of supervisory control & data acquisition (SCADA) systems and associated communications infrastructure related to cutting-edge renewable energy projects. You will be responsible for coordinating with multiple stakeholders to develop conceptual designs. You will be responsible for managing the procurement, final detailed designs, commissioning, and acceptance testing on renewable energy projects. The SCADA & IT systems of these projects may include RTACs, RTUs, plant controllers, network switches, firewalls, annunciators, HMIs and all associated connectivity on wind, solar and battery storage renewable energy projects. Responsibilities • Specification and configuration of SCADA, power plant controller, RTU, & IT equipment • Develop conceptual project designs that comply with all critical stakeholder and interconnection requirements • Creation of conceptual block diagrams • Conduct thorough reviews of detailed design drawings • Track design schedules, update all stakeholders and ensure that critical dates are met on time. • Organize and transfer all as-built documentation to operations team including schematics, bills of materials, and programming settings • Coordinate the procurement and installation of necessary telecom services. • Interface with plant controller manufacturers, transmission operators, generator owners and operators to configure systems as needed. • Coordinate networking equipment configuration including specifying physical interfaces and protocols, assigning IP addresses, and administration of firewall rules. • Monitor construction progress remotely and via on-site inspections. Support resolution of any field issues. Attend in-person meetings with stakeholders. Provide on-site programming and field support during commissioning. • Verify that all applicable NERC requirements are considered and fulfilled. • Lead efforts with project team to develop operational plans to energize, commission, and turnover projects while maintaining NERC compliance. • Coordinate with independent engineers and project partners to effectively navigate the technical due diligence process. • Assist in the development of new projects by analyzing conceptual designs and RFQ specifications. • Coordinate with operations engineering and third party customers to incorporate lessons learned into new designs • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry technology through various training sessions and conferences Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's degree required in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related discipline. • 3+ years of generation SCADA systems experience • Knowledge of both the physical and software aspects of networking equipment that connect renewable energy assets • Advanced knowledge and programming of SCADA, HMI, PLC platforms • Experience and familiarity with various industrial communication protocols and architectures such as OPC, DNP3, ModBus and EGD. • Experience working around HV/MV electrical infrastructure (substations/switchyards, distribution systems, transmission lines, transformers, relays, meters, CTs, and PTs) • Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future. • Up to 25% travel required. • Valid driver's license required Preferred Qualifications • Prior installation, commissioning and site construction experience in renewable power generation • Experience working on GE WindSCADA, GE WindCONTROL, Vestas Online Business, SEL RTAC, and/ or Ignition by Inductive Automation • Working knowledge of NERC compliance for low impact cyber systems • Ability to coordinate and manage multiple concurrent projects. • Considerable knowledge in computer and server operation. • Strong project management skills • Strong oral and written communication skills • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills #remotework, #workfromhome, #remotejobs, #LI-Remote Base Pay $97,000.00 - $120,000.00 USD Annual Bonus: 20% - 30% The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position.
