The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building secure REST APIs, implementing authentication and authorization solutions using Auth0, and working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. This is an excellent opportunity to work on modern identity solutions in a collaborative, remote environment. Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js and JavaScript. • Build and enhance secure RESTful APIs and microservices. • Configure and manage Auth0 tenants, applications, APIs, and identity workflows. • Implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and secure authorization models. • Integrate authentication using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and SAML 2.0. • Support Single Sign-On (SSO), federation, and identity lifecycle management. • Work with API Gateways and cloud services on AWS or Azure. • Automate identity configuration changes through CI/CD pipelines. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-quality software solutions. • Troubleshoot and optimize authentication, authorization, and API performance. Required Qualifications • Strong experience with JavaScript and Node.js development. • Hands-on experience developing and consuming REST APIs. • Experience with Auth0 SDKs, APIs, and tenant configuration. • Strong understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and SAML 2.0. • Experience implementing Role-Based Access Control (RBAC). • Knowledge of Single Sign-On (SSO), identity federation, and identity lifecycle management. • Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms. • Familiarity with API Gateways. • Experience with CI/CD tools and deployment pipelines. • Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with microservices architecture. • Knowledge of security best practices for authentication and authorization. • Experience working in Agile development environments. Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour Work Location: Remote
