Support critical infrastructure and CI/CD initiatives focusing on Redshift optimization, pipeline engineering, and infrastructure modernization. | Requires Python scripting, AWS Redshift and SQL optimization, CI/CD pipeline development with GitLab, Terraform IaC, AWS networking, and strong DevOps troubleshooting skills. | Role: Cloud DevOps Engineer Location: Remote Duration: 1 year open-ended Contract Overview: We are seeking two experienced Cloud DevOps Engineers to support critical infrastructure and CI/CD initiatives. One position is needed to start immediately (for the November PI), and another to begin in December. These roles will focus heavily on Redshift optimization, CI/CD pipeline engineering, and infrastructure modernization as part of the CCP Next initiative. Required Skills and Experience: • Python (most of the modules involve some Python scripts) • Strong hands-on experience with AWS Redshift and SQL performance optimization. • Proven expertise in CI/CD pipeline development (GitLab preferred). • Experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code (IaC) practices. • Strong understanding of DevOps principles, automation, and continuous integration/delivery. • Experience with AWS infrastructure, including VPCs, clusters, and related networking components. • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple priorities.
