The Class B Delivery Driver will be responsible for a route of daily stops. The deliveries require unloading the product via hand, pallet jack, and dolly and delivering the merchandise to the customer-designated location. The essential aspects of this position are delivering products and exceptional customer service. The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. Founded in 1935 and headquartered in New Jersey, Imperial Dade serves as a mission-critical partner to more than 120,000 customers through our footprint of 130+ branches. **All correspondence will come directly from Imperial Dade and not a personal email address.** Responsibilities You will: Safely operate a 24’ box truck of 26,000 pounds of gross vehicle weight (GVW) Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate Properly track and document activity log Report any issues or incidents to dispatch Inspect the truck before and after each trip Communicate with customers with an outgoing, positive attitude Qualifications You have: A valid commercial driver’s license Must be able to pass a DOT Medical Exam A good driving record 1 year of recent CDL B experience 1 year of route delivery experience 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience Lift gate experience Ability to handle physical workload (lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted) Strong work ethic We offer a dynamic environment for our more than 7,500 employees to work, learn, and grow professionally. This is a night shift position, the schedule is Sunday through Thursday from 6:00 pm until finish.
