We are seeking an experienced Network Automation Engineer to join our technology team and tackle the most ambitious challenge of their career. You will play a crucial role in automating, managing, and scaling our network infrastructure across a growing fleet of diverse global datacenters. As a Network Automation Engineer, you will tackle a critical company and industry challenge: how to standardize independent data center deployments and make robust network automations that can handle a wide array of vendors and architectures. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement network automation tools and frameworks to streamline configuration, deployment, and monitoring across partner datacenters. Develop and maintain scripts, playbooks, and pipelines for automated provisioning of network devices and services. Integrate Brokkr’s platform with network management systems and APIs exposed by datacenter vendors and equipment. Troubleshoot network issues and work through L2 and L3 support incidents with a focus on automation-based remediation. Monitor and improve network performance and uptime across diverse hardware and topologies. Ensure network security policies are enforced through configuration automation and compliance checks. Collaborate with infrastructure and systems engineers to support seamless deployment and scaling of bare metal resources. Contribute to the design and architecture of scalable, fault-tolerant network solutions. Required Qualifications: BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Networking, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience accepted. Proven experience with network automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and Netmiko/NAPALM. Hands-on experience with configuration and management of network equipment (Cumulus, SONIC, Cisco, Juniper, Arista, MikroTik, etc.). Strong programming/scripting skills in Python, Go, or similar languages. Deep understanding of network protocols and services (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPN, NAT, DHCP, DNS, etc.). Familiarity with REST APIs and SNMP for network device management. Experience with CI/CD pipelines for network changes. Knowledge of Linux networking and troubleshooting. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or DevNet Associate/Professional are a plus. Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) practices in networking environments. Exposure to observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or NetBox. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure is a must.
