You will be the human partner to the robot AI, providing an amazing support experience to customers. In preparation for a commercial launch, the company is growing its team to support the challenging delivery of traditional customer service with specialized real-time rider support during customer rides. We are seeking an experienced individual that will excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment to help evolve the foundation for future rider operations. Beyond expertise in customer service execution, this role requires exceptional empathy, patience, and a relationship-oriented mindset. As Customer Escalation Specialists, you will have the unique opportunity to drive development of new operational processes and tools for scale. You will also have a voice in creating new products and services that allow you and your fellow agents to understand what is happening in and around the company's vehicles. As a Customer Escalation Specialist, You Will • Provide live rider support before, during and after missions through a variety of support channels. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide live assistance to Riders and escalate issues to be further investigated. • Become a knowledge expert on tools related to RiderOps and utilize these tools to resolve customer interactions. • Assist with testing and data collection. • Work closely with Fleet Operations, Product, Software, and User Experience to improve operational processes and tools based on observed customer needs. • Uphold a safety-centric, inclusive, and open-communication culture. In this role, you will perform maintenance, repairs, fleet reworks and contribute towards the operations of our workshop. This will include scheduled/preventative maintenance and services, diagnostics, repair coordination, and general upkeep of vehicles. We're looking for someone with extensive knowledge of the maintenance and repair of vehicles. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of prior automotive technician experience. As An Auto Mechanic, You'll • Perform high-quality repairs and inspections efficiently and accurately according to work instructions and document findings/results in a specialized service platform. • Conduct multi-point inspections and system checks, making appropriate recommendations to ensure the safety and reliability of fleet vehicles. • Inspect and test all work performed as a Quality Control (QC) measure as soon as jobs are completed. • Be willing/able to travel locally from time to time to configure, set up, maintain, diagnose, and sign off on vehicles for safe on-road usage. • Build an excellent service experience for internal teams and business partners. • Assist with parts/tools inventory, location, and organization, ensuring that technician tools and shop facilities are in excellent working condition. • Operate all equipment in the service center in a safe and productive manner, following safety standards for the use of personal protective equipment (e.g., safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection) while working on the production floor. • Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations that affect service center operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA guidelines, etc. Requirements • 5+ years of automotive technician experience • Extensive knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials used in the maintenance and repair of vehicles/automotive systems • Clean/excellent driving record • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and deliverables • Reliable self-starter with a "roll up the sleeves" work ethic • An outstanding communicator with excellent written and verbal skills • Must be honest and responsible with a team player spirit Preferred Qualifications • Technical trade school certificate or Associate Degree in Automotive Repair • ASE certification and/or manufacturer certification • Ability to operate comfortably within and troubleshoot Linux-based systems • Diagnostic troubleshooting experience w/ OEM systems, including high-level experience working with: • HV systems and hybrid drivetrains • CAN/LIN • HVAC, cooling, chassis and suspension • Knowledgeable regarding optimization of fleet maintenance and OEM maintenance items • Diagnostic experience with embedded modules, self-driving systems and sensor stacks • Ability to travel locally and nationally (on occasion) Benefits • Pre-tax commuter benefits • Employer (HireArt) Subsidized healthcare benefits (Eligibility begins on the first of the month following 60 days of service) • Flexible Spending Account for healthcare-related costs • HireArt covers all costs for short and long-term disability and life insurance • 401k package Commitment: This is a full-time, ongoing contract position staffed via HireArt.
