Position Overview We are seeking a high-impact Business Development Director with a proven track record of winning new B2B business within franchise automotive dealerships or the telematics space. This is a true hunter-only role — 100% focused on net-new account acquisition. The ideal candidate thrives on prospecting, is confident walking into dealerships unannounced, and knows how to turn a cold introduction into a qualified opportunity. You are energized by building pipeline from scratch and understand that consistent activity drives consistent results. Qualifications • 3–5 years of B2B new business development sales experience with a successful track record of exceeding targets. • Experience hunter in the automotive dealerships space or within the telematics / connected vehicle industry strongly preferred. • Strong understanding of dealership operations, particularly F&I, sales, and service workflows. • Proven ability to build executive-level relationships and close complex sales cycles. • Self-motivated with strong organizational and territory management skills. • Excellent prospecting, communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities. • Strong problem solving, analytical, and organizational abilities. • Comfortable balancing multiple priorities and account in a fast-paced environment. • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite. • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
