Lead and grow the UX team, oversee operations, and design UX processes to ensure quality and collaboration. | 5+ years UX research and design experience with leadership in complex software product environments, strong research and design skills, and ability to collaborate across teams. | Job Description: • Lead and grow the UX team • Serve as the operations lead, focusing on performance assessment, feedback, coaching, and career growth. • Own building and shaping the team, including staffing planning, hiring, and onboarding. • Design and refine practical, lightweight UX processes that fit the company's culture and product lifecycles. • Clarify how UX partners with Product team members throughout the life of development projects. • Set and uphold a practical bar for UX quality, including usability, accessibility, consistency, and clear design rationale. • Partner with the team to evolve design systems and shared UI components. • Encourage the team to experiment thoughtfully with AI‑assisted tools. Requirements: • 5+ years of experience in UX Research & Design for complex software products, ideally including B2B/B2G or enterprise SaaS applications. • 2+ years in a leadership capacity, which may include: Direct people leadership of UX professionals, Leading UX practices or process changes across teams, Partnering with other leads and managers to evolve how UX fits into product development. • Strong practitioner background across both research and design. • Planning and running user research and usability testing. • Translating insights into flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity designs. • Collaborating closely with product and engineering during implementation. • Comfortable with modern UX tools such as Figma and common research platforms (e.g., Lyssna, similar tools). • Working knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards. • Proven ability to prioritize UX work across multiple products and stakeholders. • Ability to influence without relying on formal authority. • Communicate clearly with a wide range of audiences (from engineers to executives). Job Responsibilities The core function of the Incident Response Management Team is to help Grant Street Group reduce incidents in every way: their frequency, their duration, and their impact for both ourselves and our clients. This requires that we focus on a few different things: • Incident response and management. You are highly communicative and can drive critical production issues to timely resolutions. You demonstrate leadership by being both approachable and confident. You ensure decisions are being made by the right people and action items have owners. • Drive organizational learning and preparedness. You’re an organized and skilled facilitator who leads effective risk assessments before launches and postmortems after incidents. But your impact goes beyond the meeting itself – you help teams spot patterns, flag bigger risks, and follow through on fixes. Because of your contributions, we get better over time – not just at handling incidents, but at preventing them in the first place. • Analyzing incident data and trends. Whether it is through our collected incident data or your own reflections, you are detail-oriented and identify shortcomings in our incident response procedures. When doing so, you suggest solutions to those problems. • Take Initiative. You are an active participant in the team’s success in reducing incidents and the company’s success as a whole. Expected Salary Range: $70,000 – $120,000/year
