Position Overview We are seeking a Technical Engagement Specialist to join our Technical Implementation and Customer Support teams. This role combines remote technical work with occasional on-site field engineering to support emergency communications centers (ECCs) in connecting their systems to GovWorx solutions. You will work directly with customers’ IT and communications teams to ensure successful integration of telephony audio and related systems into our secure cloud environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in 9-1-1 center technology, a strong IT and networking background, and working knowledge of audio streaming, SIP, or other voice integration protocols. You’ll play a critical role in the deployment and ongoing reliability of AI on-sitel systems used every day by public safety professionals. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain integrations between customer telephony/audio, CAD systems and GovWorx applications. Work directly with PSAP/ECC technical staff, vendors, and system administrators to ensure installations, proper connectivity and data flow. Troubleshoot audio connections and network issues, including SIP and other streaming protocols. Assist with setup and configuration of hardware devices used for audio or data ingestion. Collaborate closely with the GovWorx implementation and support teams to ensure smooth deployments and excellent customer experiences. Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours, weekend, and holiday support as needed. Travel to customer sites (up to 20%) for system installations, testing, and troubleshooting. Required Qualifications U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the United States. Must pass FBI CJIS fingerprint and criminal background check at national and individual state levels. Minimum 2 years of experience in IT, telecommunications, or systems engineering. Familiarity with public safety and 9-1-1 center environments and terminology. Strong knowledge of audio streaming protocols and telephony integration (VoIP, SIP, RTP, PBX systems). Proficient in Windows and/or Linux server environments, networking, and system configuration. Excellent communication and customer service skills; able to work independently in high-pressure situations. Willingness to travel up to 20% and participate in after-hours on-call rotation. Preferred Qualifications Experience with logging recorders Familiarity with CAD, radio, or 911 telephony systems. Prior experience with SaaS or cloud-based solutions. Position Overview We're looking for an experienced IT Security Analyst to help build and improve the next generation of AI systems used by public safety agencies across the country. This role sits at the intersection of IT Security, SaaS Application Security, and Security Compliance. You'll own the evaluation and continuous improvement of production security systems, developing automated pipelines for things like security scans and penetration testing, responding to security questionnaires and RFPs, and managing our compliance frameworks (SOC2 Type 2, NIST, CJIS, etc.). This is a senior individual contributor role responsible for architecture, hands-on delivery, and technical leadership across identity, endpoint, security operations, and compliance. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in IAM, endpoint management, and security engineering, and is equally comfortable designing systems and getting into the details. You will serve as the primary technical lead for IT and security initiatives, partnering closely with the Head of IT & Security and cross-functional teams to maintain a strong security posture as GovWorx scales. Experience in regulated or compliance-driven environments is highly valued. You will play a critical role in protecting the systems and data that public safety professionals rely on every day. Required Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in IT, security engineering, or a combined technical role. • Hands-on expertise with Okta (SSO, SCIM, MFA, lifecycle management) and RBAC/ABAC access models. • Proficiency with Jamf Pro and Microsoft Intune for endpoint management and compliance enforcement. • Experience with EDR platforms, SIEM tooling, and centralized logging infrastructure. • Working knowledge of Zero Trust architecture principles and their practical application. • Experience supporting compliance frameworks (SOC 2, NIST, ISO 27001, or similar). • Familiarity with incident response practices, forensic analysis, and chain-of-custody procedures. • Ability to write and maintain scripts or automation (Python, Bash, or equivalent) for operational tasks. • Strong written and verbal communication; able to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders. • U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the United States.
