The Role This Senior Technical Product Manager role will drive development of connected software experiences that integrate seamlessly with our iconic cameras. This role sits at the intersection of hardware and software, focusing on building intuitive, scalable features that enhance how users connect to and interact with GoPro devices across mobile, cloud, and web platforms. You’ll lead cross-functional efforts to define, build, and optimize experiences that power the GoPro ecosystem. From camera connectivity and media transfer to cloud backup and real-time live preview. You’ll contribute to product strategy, define technical requirements, and ensure on-time delivery in a fast-paced, agile environment. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical background, exceptional collaboration skills, and a user-first mindset, with a track record of delivering cross-platform software features that balance performance, usability, and scale. What You Will Do As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you will collaborate with leadership and cross functional stakeholders across the business to define, design and bring new software experiences to market. Working within a SAFe Agile framework, develop + own the strategy, roadmap and execution for new image capture devices that unlock compelling new use cases and software markets, across a portfolio of GoPro software products. Routinely conduct product research and user testing to validate concepts, features, and designs early and often throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring the quality, usability and authenticity of our products. Write clear and concise product requirements that define the goals and key performance elements of each feature, and that are digestible by design, engineering and QA teams. Define and execute technically complex but intuitive features that have measurable impact, both to the GoPro user experience and our subscription business. Carry products + features from conception and design, through development, launch and iteration cycles. Launch, learn, analyze data and iterate. Skills We’re Excited About 5-8 years of proven experience in software/digital media product development or a related technical role, with at least 4 years of product management experience, collaborating closely with hardware and firmware. BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience; leading discussions with senior engineers and architects around technical decisions, priorities, and tradeoffs impacting customers is a key component of the role. Deep understanding of and practical experience with software development methodologies and distribution of a software ecosystem across mobile, cloud and web platforms. An effective leader, communicator, presenter + writer who can use these skills to influence stakeholder groups, who may have conflicting priorities. Fundamentally analytical. You make data driven decisions and use key insights to prioritize your roadmap and influence decision making across the organization. Experience driving technical product + go-to-market strategy, and design discussions with cross functional groups. A passion for building new, innovative technologies and software solutions. Bonus Points For A curiosity about GoPro products and a learning mindset. You like to understand why things work the way they do (or don’t). A passion for video capture + editing, action sports, travel or other core GoPro verticals, as well as an understanding of the pain points these users face during these activities. Manage and optimize People Systems, lead Workday projects, and develop analytics to support HR functions. | 7+ years of HRIS experience, familiarity with Workday, strong technical and project management skills, and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. | Remote USA. This role can be performed anywhere from the United States. The People Systems Program Manager is responsible for the management and optimization of People Team technologies and analytics in a fast-paced global environment. This role manages Workday and related systems (including LMS, ATS, and others), ensuring data integrity, compliance, and system performance while driving technology initiatives that support organizational goals. The role serves as a subject matter expert, project manager, and steward of the employee experience across People systems. What You Will Do Manage People Systems roadmap planning: identify gaps, propose future state, and prioritize initiatives to meet business needs. Project manage Workday implementations and releases, including scoping, timelines, documentation, and stakeholder communication. Partner cross-functionally with People Team functional owners, IT, and Payroll to define requirements, improve processes, and implement solutions. Support People Team annual processes (compensation cycles, open enrollment, talent, etc.). Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics to provide actionable insights to the People Team, managers, and business leaders. Define and track key metrics that align with organizational and People Team priorities; empower leaders with real-time data access. Provide system and end-user training, documentation, and support to ensure adoption and positive user experience. Manage vendor relationships and consultant resources for People Systems. Own system configuration, audit procedures, integrations, and system maintenance to ensure information security, data accuracy, SOX compliance, and quality control. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues; recommend and implement timely solutions. Manage and maintain system integrations, workflows, and security policies.
