Providing life enrichment activities to seniors in adult family homes with independent travel between locations. | Self-motivated individual with time management skills, reliable transportation, and a passion for working with seniors or persons with disabilities. | Golden Year Activities activity coordinators enter adult family homes in the area to do life enrichment activities. Activities will protain to games, arts and crafts, physical activities, and social interaction. This position requires someone who is self-motivated and able to work independently. The person needs to have time mangement skills, and love working with seniors or person with disablities, or mental health. The person will need to have rialable transportation,. Here is an example of the schedule (this can be flexible according to what hours a person wants to work) Daily schedulte 10 am house 1 1115 house 2 1pm house 3 215 house 4 330 house 5 We stay at each home for an hour. We attempt to keep drive time between homes to 15min. The lunch hour is not paid. The drive time is paid between house 2 and 3. Drive times and milage are figured out by google and maps. We offer paid milage between homes as well as the time. The person needs to love people and treat them with dignity and compassion. Golden Year Activities Motto is Providing services to seniors through activities with love, compassion and friendship. Golden Year Activities is a traveling activity for local adult family homes. We have been in business for 8 years in Vancouver Wa. We are expanding to the South Seattle and beyond. We would love to add fun personal to keep growing.
