Lead software projects by designing architecture, managing development lifecycle, mentoring developers, and advising leadership on technology decisions. | Must have COBOL experience, transportation sector background, and skills in software architecture, project leadership, and technology integration. | Must work CST Must have experience in Transportation Sector Must have COBOL Experience Software Project Manager / Technical Project Lead Duties – • Design high-level architecture for new software projects – skillset Architect, Designer • Gather requirements • Choose Technologies • Integrate / Leverage current software technologies or projects • Outline the detailed tasks involved • Project Leadership – skillset DevOps Manager, Senior Developer • Orchestrate the development lifecycle from tasks, through to testing, through to Deployment • Break down complex problems and tasks into actionable items • Coordinate and help solve issues that may have been missed during the design phase • Mentorship – skillset Senior Developer • Mentor developers where they may struggle implementing any particular task • Technology advice to leadership – skillset Architect • Answering various “Can we do this” type of questions • Determine a way forward, which various platforms would be used, potential issues • Propose alternative ways to accomplish the same task Job Type: Contract Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Work Location: Remote
