Oversee and improve legal administrative support teams, develop operational strategies, and implement technology solutions across multiple offices. | Over 10 years of legal support or law firm operations experience, with 5+ years in supervisory roles, and proficiency with legal technology platforms. | Join a Leading Law Firm as our client's Director of Legal Support Services and drive operational excellence. Position can be located in Dallas, Kansas City, Minneapolis or St. Louis. We’re seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking Director of Legal Support Services to elevate the firm’s administrative operations, enhance client satisfaction, and foster innovation. In this role, you will • Oversee and inspire Legal Administrative Assistants, Paralegals, Office Leaders, and Work Product Support teams across multiple offices. • Develop and implement strategies to improve workflow efficiency, service quality, and client experience. • Leverage legal technology platforms such as document management systems, docketing tools, and workflow automations. • Collaborate closely with firm leadership to align support services with overall business objectives. • Lead large, diverse teams while managing change and implementing process improvement. • Foster a culture of continuous development, talent retention, and high standards of client service. • Drive firm-wide initiatives focused on operational excellence and support scalability. Ideal Candidates Will Have: • Over 10 years of experience in legal support services or law firm operations, with 5+ years in supervisory role. • Proven success managing large teams and implementing process improvements. • Strong understanding of legal practice areas and client service standards. • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills. • Proficiency with legal technology platforms such as CompuLaw, BigHand, and workflow tools. Preferred Qualifications: • MBA, or advanced degree in Legal Administration is preferred. • Experience managing multiple departments across various locations. • Background in strategic planning and implementing technology-rich solutions.
