Design and build Oracle-native data pipelines and warehouse components, develop and support Oracle FDI reports, and collaborate to translate business requirements into technical deliverables. | 5+ years in data engineering, strong Oracle FDI knowledge, experience with Databricks, ability to translate business needs into data models, and English proficiency. | We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will play a critical role in building scalable data pipelines and warehouse components within an Oracle environment, enabling advanced analytics and reporting for our client’s finance operations. Our client operates in the technology sector and is currently entering the data warehouse build phase. This role will accelerate the development of Oracle-native solutions, working closely with stakeholders to transform business requirements into actionable data deliverables. Location: Must reside and have work authorization in Latin America. Availability: Must be available to work with significant overlap with Mountain Standard Time (MST). This is a direct hire with our US partner The Ideal Candidate Has: BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 5+ years of experience in data engineering or similar roles. Strong Oracle FDI (Fusion Data Intelligence) knowledge — core requirement. Experience developing or supporting reports in Oracle FDI — major bonus / high preference. Hands-on experience designing and building scalable data pipelines and warehouse components. Experience with Databricks and handling large data volumes. Ability to translate business requirements into scalable data models. Excellent communication skills in English (C1 preferred, strong B2 may be considered). Key Responsibilities: Design and build data pipelines and warehouse components supporting the Elevate Finance data warehouse. Work primarily within the Oracle ecosystem, aligning with the client’s preference for Oracle-native solutions. Develop and/or support reporting in Oracle FDI, including report creation and optimization. Collaborate with the current data engineer and project leadership to turn business requirements into technical deliverables. Contribute to best practices for data architecture, quality, and scalability as the platform grows.
