Essential Functions, Key Duties, & Responsibilities • Assist residents with activities of daily living including but not limited to; bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and medication reminders in accordance with care plans and established community policies and procedures. • Assist residents with lifting, turning, transferring, positioning, and transporting into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc. • Assist with dining room services at assigned mealtimes, including set-up, clean-up, meal tray delivery, feeding assistance, and documentation of meal intake. • Monitor the residents’ physical and cognitive wellbeing and report changes to the nurse and supervisor. • Deliver nutritional supplements to residents at assigned times and provide resident assistance as needed to ensure intake. Document intake per community policy/procedure. • Participate in life enrichment programming and providing meaningful activities to residents. • Document resident care timely and accurately. • Perform other duties as assigned. • Comply with all policies and procedures and any updates. Position Requirements Education: High School Diploma/GED Licenses/Certifications: Certified Nursing Certification may be required depending on state regulations Experience: 1+ years of paid or volunteer experience working with seniors preferred Skills & Abilities: • Ability to demonstrate patience and compassion in working with the elderly. #Livingjoyfully Min: USD $20.50/Hr.
