Measure, prepare garments, review construction, attend fit sessions, and build tech packs for denim apparel. | At least 3-5 years of denim apparel experience, proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, MS Office, and strong organizational skills. | Our client, a young contemporary women's denim brand fashion brand in Huntington Park, is seeking an Associate Technical Designer (Denim) to join their team. This position will be onsite Monday-Friday. Job Overview: • Measure and prep garments, review construction, attend fit sessions and prepare fit session notes. • Is accountable for results, approaches obstacles proactively and looks for ways to resolve problems and issues. • Computer sketches, build tech packs using CAD design programs. (CAD, Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, etc) Design per season and meeting calendar deadlines • Attend all production fittings. Measure specs and prepare/ organize rack before fitting · Receive and log incoming PP and TOP samples • Measure/Spec PP and TOP samples & input on TP for fitting; Create and organize line sheets • Input & update design board based on TP comments from designers • Develop women’s denim washes; keep & organize all the information QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: • At least 3-5 yrs denim apparel experience preferred • Efficient in: MS office & Excel, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat and/or Adobe Photoshop • Must be detail-oriented, organized & able to multitask in a fast-paced environment· Meets deadlines, prioritizes appropriately, copes well with change, and maintains composure under pressure.
