We're looking for a strategic and results-driven OEM Sales Manager to develop and execute sales initiatives that drive significant growth, revenue, and profit objectives for our OEM line of business. This dynamic role involves leading the OEM sales process, cultivating pivotal customer relationships, and collaborating seamlessly across internal teams and with key Ford Motor Company personnel to identify new market opportunities and ensure operational excellence. Leveraging your expertise in budget development, market strategy, and use of Salesforce CRM, you will be instrumental in achieving ambitious departmental and company goals, propelling our success forward. Essential Functions * Drive the OEM sales process from strategy to execution, leading initiatives for incremental and growth opportunities to achieve annual revenue, profit, and growth targets. * Cultivate and strengthen key customer relationships, including negotiating and executing long-term agreements, and contribute to the development of revenue and profit budgets for OEM product lines. * Manage departmental goals and objectives, ensuring operational excellence and effective management of profits and expenses in alignment with company goals. * Collaborate closely with the OEM sales team, leadership, and other FCS departments to identify new business opportunities, expand existing accounts, and resolve issues proactively. * Oversee the Program Management Gate Process for OE Sales, maintain Salesforce dashboards, and ensure proficient Salesforce CRM usage across the team to achieve KPIs and drive opportunity progress. * Develop and implement comprehensive market strategies by business segment and customer, supported by gathering and analyzing market data for product development and pricing strategies. * Prepare and present detailed summary reports and analyses of OEM business segments, including financials, roadmaps, and customer engagement, for key internal stakeholders. * Build and maintain strategic cross-functional relationships with Ford personnel across Product Development, Engineering, Manufacturing & Advanced Planning, MP&L, Ford Blue, Model E, FCSD, and Ford Pro. * Prepare and manage commercial documents such as Statements of Work and Non-Disclosure Agreements in collaboration with legal teams, and develop quality processes for new and existing OEM projects. We're looking for a motivated professional who can excel in this dynamic role. To be successful, you will typically possess: * Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university is required; an Engineering degree is preferred. * Several years of relevant industry experience. * Prior automotive powertrain experience highly desired, and experience in other non-automotive industries is a plus. * Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the essential duties of this role. Manage assigned customer accounts, build long-term relationships, grow revenue, and troubleshoot customer issues. | Bachelor's degree plus 1-2 years related experience or training, routine customer visits, and sales meetings. | Ford Component Sales, LLC (FCS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company aligned with the Ford Customer Service Division (FCSD). We are a flexible sales organization that directs resources toward revenue opportunities identified by FCSD. We are in search of an OE Account Manager that manages all aspects of assigned OEM and Specialty Vehicle customer accounts. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS * Works to establish long-term relationships with customers. Makes customer visits on a routine basis (subject to travel approvals) to maintain, develop, or secure significant opportunities. Completes customer visit contact reports * Grows revenue and profitability by developing new business and maintaining existing customer base * Researches and develops new markets and applications for Ford components and powertrain integration in conjunction with Business Development Team * Gathers and assembles required market data to be used for product strategy and proactive product offerings * Serves as the customers' advocate in the organization – troubleshoots problems efficiently and involves the appropriate areas (inside sales rep, operations, credit, etc.) in resolving the issue. While the Inside Sales Representative handles most of the day to day issues, the Account Manager is responsible for monitoring these issues and should assume the lead to ensure issues are handled appropriately and in a timely manner * Conducts routine sales team meetings to discuss issues, quotes, backorders, pipeline, new opportunities, and sale objectives. Meets one on one with individuals from the relevant department when necessary for further explanation, progress, status and resolution to ensure the customer is served * Builds solid, positive relationships with key personnel from all departments to ensure company goals are met. Fundamentally understands functions of each department to facilitate informed recommendations for solutions that will consider the best interests of the company * Performs Baan sales reports and analysis regarding sales history, projections and statistics * Works with Credit to ensure customers adhere to Terms and Conditions of Sale; includes support when necessary for action to pursue collection of delinquent accounts or account status resolutions * Supports and maintains all corporate quality standards, policies, procedures, and work instructions * Provides continuing updates on status of accounts, progress with new accounts to OEM Sales Manager * Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
