Job Summary We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our lean, high-impact Finance team. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will play a critical role in driving corporate financial performance through revenue modeling, analyzing gross margins, and conducting complex budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. As a foundational member of the team, you will also own the implementation and ongoing support of our FP&A software ecosystem, ensuring our systems scale alongside our strategic growth. This role will lead building a high performing team capable of supporting rapid growth. Your Role Track company drivers such as MRR/ARR, Churn, CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost), Logo Retention, and Margins to direct long-term strategic planning and provide data-driven insights to leadership. Leverage cohort analysis and complex financial models to create actionable reports and presentations for senior management. Partner with Marketing and Business Development leadership to track the sales funnel and forecast revenue. You will monitor COGS and expenses to balance growth rate, profit margin, and cash flow in support of the company's financial targets. Act as the primary owner for our FP&A software. You will lead the implementation of new tools, manage ongoing system support, and utilize excellent project management skills to ensure our financial tech stack is optimized and scalable. Partner with business leaders to optimize financial procedures through continuous improvements to automation and data analysis. What We Look For BS in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; MBA or CPA/CFA preferred. 4-6+ years in FP&A, ideally within a SaaS environment, with a strong understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition. Proven experience in FP&A system oversight and software implementation. You should possess excellent project management skills and the ability to act as the technical lead for finance-related tools. Expert Excel skills with the ability to independently create cohort analyses and complex financial models from scratch. An independent and curious thinker with a continuous improvement mindset to drive efficiencies and the ability to drive results. Strong presentation and analytical skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial recommendations in a concise and timely manner. Fluency is headquartered in Burlington, Vermont. The Fluency platform is built using a native AWS architecture. We use JavaScript, Vue.js, HTML5, Bootstrap, CSS3, Java, Spring Boot, Aurora, S3, along with whatever else makes sense for the job at hand. Job Summary: A Senior Frontend Engineer at Fluency will build key product features continuously improving the experience for our customers. You will do this by working with the Product and UX teams on current projects, interpreting product ideas and mockups to create new web-based user interfaces. You’ll balance a consistent look and feel across the application with these fresh features. You will collaborate often with other Software Engineers to define and refine our REST API and you naturally jump in to solve client issues with one of the existing product modules. Your Role: Project planning and execution based on the product development pipeline Collaboration across multiple business units and functional departments to develop and deploy solutions that address key business initiatives Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using the best software development practices Implement and help evolve website interface by using standard HTML/CSS/JS practices Integrate data from various back-end services and databases Create and maintain software documentation Actively seeks and removes impediments to team success regardless of origination Present issues and risks to management in a timely manner with proposed mitigation Influencing technology and architectural decisions Continuously improves software development productivity, quality, predictability, and team morale What We Look For: 5 plus years experience in web application and enterprise software development Deep understanding of web technologies (HTML5, CSS3) and experience with a component based JavaScript framework such as VueJS, React, Angular, etc. AWS, Vue.js, Bootstrap and Java Spring Boot knowledge a plus Bachelors and/or Masters Degree in a related field, a plus but NOT required, we look for proven talent and skill Knowledge of current development strategies and trends across web application platforms Eye for design/usability details and skills facilitating visual reviews Experience establishing, leading, and inspiring world class development Loves feedback and understands iterative development cycles Experience with the advertising industry, a plus Fluency is headquartered in Vermont. This position is remote US based. If local, you have the option to go into the office.
