Develop and verify flight control laws for fly-by-wire aircraft systems, contributing to control architecture and testing. | Requires 10+ years in flight control law development, expertise in aircraft systems, aerodynamics, and experience with modeling tools like MATLAB/Simulink. | We are seeking a Senior Flights Control Engineer that has experience in flight control law development in fly-by-wire programs. Key Accountabilities · Own Flight Control Laws development activities from requirements flown down, implementation up to integration and testing · Contribute to control architectures from high level needs and characteristics · Contribute to linear design – trimming and linearizing flight dynamics models, control laws synthesis and linear analyses · Contribute to nonlinear design and verification, and clearance testing · Actively work on improving processes, methods, and tools for flight control Required Qualifications · BS / MS in Aeronautical Engineering or related fields · 10+ years of professional experience in Flight Control Law development in fly-by-wire programs · Expert-level knowledge of fixed-wing handling qualities. · Industry experience with and understanding of aircraft electronic flight control systems. · Background in aerodynamics and flight dynamics (understand the physics you want to control). · Version Control and Requirements Management: experience with version control systems like Git and requirements management tools such as DOORS or Jama. Ability to maintain traceability and manage complex datasets is crucial. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interface with senior leaders, partners, and suppliers with clarity and confidence. · Attention to Detail: a meticulous approach to ensure the accuracy and completeness of engineering artifacts. · Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Desired Qualifications · Proficiency in Simulation and Modeling Tools: expertise in MATLAB/Simulink for control law modeling, simulation, and analysis. · Aircraft pilot license

Lead organizational growth, secure government funding, and develop strategic partnerships in defense and aerospace sectors. | Requires 7+ years in defense/aerospace business development, experience with U.S. government funding mechanisms, and proven success in capturing government contracts. | We are seeking a Director of Strategy & Business Development to lead organizational growth, capture government and defense funding, and align technical capabilities with market opportunities. You will develop strategic partnerships, pursue SBIRR/STTR, OTA, DOD contracts, and manage relationships across the aerospace ecosystem. Duties: Develop and execute business strategy to grow revenue and secure government funding. Identify, evaluate, and pursue funding opportunities: SBIR, STTR, OTA, DPA title III, CRADAs,DARPA/Air Force/ONR/Space Force solicitations Lead proposal development: win themes, storyboards, capture plans, proposal writing, pricing strategy Build strategic relationships with government program offices, primes, and downstream partners Serve as the organization's interface to government stakeholders, industry partners, and advisory councils Track funding landscapes, policy shifts, and defense modernization priorities Support investor relations and executive leadership with market insights, competitor analysis, and strategic recommendations Coordinate with engineering leads to translate technical capabilities into compelling proposals Bachelor's degree in Business,Engineering, Public Policy, or related field 7+ years of experience in business development, capture management, or strategic planning in defense/aerospace Detailed experience with U.S. government funding mechanisms(SBIR, STTR, OTA, FAR/DFARS, etc.) Proven track record capturing government contracts/grants and winning proposals String written and verbal communication skills Ability to rapidly translate complex technical concepts into proprosal narratives and strategic value propositions Preferred Requirements: Experience within with DoD program offices, primes, or government labs Familiarity with ITAR/Export Compliance and security classification guides MBA or advanced degree in a relevant area
