Assist clients with payroll and tax processing, including GL mapping, tax payments, and filings. | At least 1+ year of payroll tax or accounting experience, strong technical skills, attention to detail, and good communication skills. | Description Looking for an individual to become part of our Finance and Tax support team. Daily activities will be assisting clients on the Payroll platform and handling back-end tax/financial processing. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of prior payroll tax processing experience. Must be detailed oriented, solution driven, and is able to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive demeanor. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • GL accounts mapping from the clients accounting software to our system • Preparing GL data exports for client and troubleshooting • Processing tax payments electronically to federal/state/local tax agencies • Corresponding via phone and email to clients regarding tax and general ledger items • Prepare quarterly/annual returns thru our system, and process electronically with all 50 states websites, troubleshooting issues as you go. • Upload bank files for ACH processing, troubleshooting technical and payroll issues that may arise • Research complex state and federal tax issues • Corresponding via phone, email and mail with to federal/state/local tax agencies Benefits: • Competitive Compensation • Health & Dental Insurance • 401k Plan • Paid PTO • Paid Major Holidays • FSA Account Requirements • At lease 1+ year of experience in payroll tax and/or accounting is required • Understanding a payroll process from start to end • Professional phone and email communication • Strong technical and analytical skills • Attention to detail is a must • Willingness to go above and beyond expectations • Ability to keep calm and productive under pressure
