The Director, Security Solutions Engineering will oversee and manage the Security Solutions Engineering Team. This role will provide thought-leadership, solution sales account planning, and technical pre-sales leadership for internal sales teams. Lead a team of Solutions Engineers for the Security Practice which provides thought leadership to identify customer challenges and includes a variety of services and products. Directly manage Security Solutions Engineers and Architects. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies. Responsible for interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Lead go-to-market strategy, planning and execution for the Security Practice. Drive execution of technical go-to-market plan with field sales. Drive discovery and execution of cross-function solutions to advance our customer’s next generation programs Drive cross-functional education and execution across different technology disciplines. Provide expertise and input to solution development process. Create solution plays consisting of engineering led solutions that educate field sales on areas of expertise. Maintain required technical certification requirements for key partners. Ensure Solutions Architects and Engineers are managing opportunities and proactively driving to closure. Demonstrate and actively promote an understanding and commitment to the mission of the company through performing behaviors consistent with the organization’s values. Understand and leverage the broader consultative and architectural teams to craft service and product offerings that make our customers successful. Must reside in PST/MST 10+ years’ experience in related area with IT background. Technical sales related experience around security tools, security architecture, consulting and collaboration. Excellent communication skills via presentations, written and oral communications. Ability to manage security and networking technologies. Proficient use of all Microsoft Office applications. Superior leadership abilities. Demonstrated ability to work effectively across functional groups and levels within an organization, as well as externally. Self-starter with excellent organizational, administrative, and interpersonal skills and ability to project manage, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment. Communicate with leadership effectively. Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Salary commensurate with years’ of experience, technical expertise and geographic location. The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering low- to moderate-complexity projects, and/or support Solution Delivery Managers (“SDMs”) on program, portfolio or high- complexity project delivery efforts. This Client-facing position requires strong communication skills, a capability to manage technical-project teams, and a results-driven attitude to ensure client success. Manage low- to moderate- complexity project including project budgets, resources, and scope. Create and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan with assigned resources. Ensure EVOTEK project methodologies and processes are followed. Facilitate weekly Practice Resource Management meetings. Coordinate with cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules. Adjust schedules and targets for the project as needed, to meet project objectives and finances. Drive quality, deliverables, and timeline to achieve client satisfaction. Execute project communication plans (scheduling meetings, providing meeting minutes, status reports, issues, stakeholder reporting, etc.). Coordinate cross-functional collaboration for projects to identify and meet needs, draft appropriate communications, communicate progress, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Coordinate creation of timely status reporting for Client-facing updates. Participate in best practices sharing sessions amongst the teams to improve delivery. Some financial accountability (i.e., manage project budgets). Analyze and adjust work efforts to address project financial budget variances. Obtain customer acceptance of project deliverables. Facilitate project change requests to ensure that all parties are informed on the impacts on schedule and/or budgets. Participate in post-project evaluation and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements. Qualifications include but not limited to: Ability to coordinate project teams of various sizes in the day-to-day operations. Project management experience. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills. Excellent time-management skills. Ability to problem-solve. Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, resources, and timelines in a dynamic environment. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills. As a Senior Data Center Engineer, candidates are responsible for providing Post-Sales design and implementation services for EVOTEK customers. It is expected that candidates have excellent technical and communication skills in working with vendors, partners and sales to ensure that optimum systems solutions are provided to customers. Candidates will be responsible for carrying out service delivery for EVOTEK customers throughout the deployment lifecycle (plan, design, implement, optimize, document). Candidates will need to demonstrate a high-level of design and implementation experience, highly motivated, excited about learning new products/technologies and able to effectively communicate (world-class customer service and maintaining a strong customer relationship). Responsibilities of the Senior Data Center Engineer are to work directly with customers in Post-Sales. Microsoft: Entra, Entra ID, Active Directory, Intune, SharePoint M365 Cohesity & Commvault experience Final design meetings with customers. Staging and Implementation of the technologies listed. Document specific build information. Perform training on the technologies listed as it pertains directly to what was configured as part of the solution. Provide project status on a regular basis. Answer customer questions. Create project deliverables such as requirements documents, cabling details, cutover plans, resiliency test plans, and drawings. Provide informal customer knowledge transfer if required. Storage, Compute, Virtualization, and Hyper-converged abilities: Cisco UCS. Nutanix VMware vSphere.
