Who you are: (Required) 7+ years in data engineering, data architecture, or ML engineering. (Required) Strong experience with Snowflake, Python, SQL, and orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect). (Required) Experience designing scalable schemas, ETL/ELT pipelines, and optimizing for performance and cost. (Required) Experience deploying and supporting production ML models (Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow). Familiar with MLOps practices—model versioning, CI/CD, monitoring, and feature stores. Experience automating data workflows and building data quality/observability into pipelines. Experience integrating ML outputs into SaaS products. Helpful but not required: Experience with Generative AI APIs, vector databases, or LLM fine-tuning. You think in systems, communicate clearly across technical and non-technical teams, and lead with clarity and mentorship. As an added bonus, you are excited about the Education/Non-profit Sector. What you’ll do: Set the technical direction for data systems and AI to support EverTrue’s product strategy. Own the design and evolution of Snowflake schemas, ETL pipelines, data governance, and automation patterns. Develop and deploy ML pipelines with strong reproducibility, performance tracking, and operational reliability. Drive experimentation for models that improve donor scoring, matching, and profile intelligence. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, DevOps/SRE, and Security to define priorities, manage infrastructure, and integrate ML into production. Mentor ML engineers, data engineers, and analysts on best practices, architecture decisions, and high-quality execution. How you’ll contribute to the team: Champion our data and AI foundation by defining architectural standards, improving reliability, and scaling ML capabilities. Provide hands-on technical leadership—supporting engineers through pairing, reviews, and guidance that builds confidence and velocity. Advance donor intelligence by testing new models and contributing to customer-facing features that use ML. Improve system health through proactive monitoring, observability, automation, and cost optimization across Snowflake and pipelines. Foster a learning culture through documentation, shared patterns, and raising the team’s skillset in data engineering, AI, and MLOps..
