The Senior Manager, IBP is a newly created role responsible for building, running, and continuously improving the company's Integrated Business Planning process. Sitting at the intersection of commercial, supply chain, and finance, this role is the operational engine behind IBP — designing the process architecture, facilitating monthly review cycles, and ensuring that plans across demand and supply translate into coherent financial and strategic decisions. Beyond process ownership, this role serves as the organization's center of excellence for supply and demand planning metrics, establishing the performance measurement frameworks, KPIs, and analytical standards used across the demand and supply planning functions led by peer directors. This is a high-visibility role with direct senior leadership exposure and significant cross-functional influence. Career Level: This role manages multiple professional roles or complex teams, aligns cross functional priorities, and leads scalable solutions to improve efficiency and performance. This role provides flexibility to work in a hybrid environment of home and our Westlake Village, CA office. (Hybrid is defined as 3 times per week in the office). Responsibilities Primary Accountabilities: IBP Process Design & Execution Own and lead the end-to-end monthly IBP cycle, ensuring alignment, accountability, and decision readiness across all stages Lead IBP forums that drive alignment on risks, opportunities, and trade-offs impacting enterprise priorities and financial performance Establish standardized IBP artifacts (agendas, pre-reads, decision frameworks, escalation protocols) to enable consistent, decision-focused execution Define and advance the IBP roadmap from S&OP to fully integrated financial planning Own the alignment of operational and financial plans, ensuring decisions translate into P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow outcomes Process Governance & Change Management Establish and govern the IBP operating model, including RACI, planning calendar, and escalation pathways Drive cross-functional adoption by reinforcing roles, decision rights, and accountability across commercial, supply chain, and finance Ensure planning assumptions are structured, owned, and actively managed to support transparent decision-making Identify and resolve systemic planning gaps, bias, and process breakdowns Center of Excellence — Supply & Demand Metrics Own the enterprise planning performance framework, including KPI definitions, methodologies, and reporting standards Ensure consistent use of metrics to drive aligned, data-driven decisions across planning functions Deliver dashboards and insights that inform leadership prioritization and performance management Benchmark performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives Embed metrics into operating rhythms in partnership with planning leadership Technology & Tools Define planning system and reporting requirements to support IBP processes and decision-making Partner with IT to ensure tools align with business needs and enable scalable planning capabilities Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems to support reliable insights Other duties as assigned Qualifications Experience, Knowledge, & Skills You Bring: Required: 8+ years of progressive experience in supply chain planning, S&OP/IBP, or related functions Demonstrated experience designing or significantly improving an S&OP or IBP process at a mid-to-large organization Strong command of supply and demand planning metrics and the analytical methods behind them Ability to translate volume plans into financial terms (revenue, COGS, working capital) Proven cross-functional influencer, comfortable challenging commercial and operational assumptions with data Strong facilitation and communication skills; able to run senior leadership forums effectively Preferred: Experience in [CPG / Food & Beverage / Manufacturing / relevant industry] Familiarity with planning tools such as SAP IBP, Kinaxis, O9, or similar Exposure to APICS/IBF frameworks (CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent) Experience leading process implementations in organizations transitioning from basic S&OP to financial IBP What You’ll Need to Succeed: Passionate about a purpose driven career Committed to fostering inclusive environments that support employee development and well-being Sets clear expectations, encourages innovation, and drives continuous improvement Models and coaches towards transparency and integrity in decision-making Effectively facilitates cross-team communication and teamwork Education & Certification: BA/BS in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering or equivalent MBA preferred Physical Requirements: Ability to sit and use the computer for extended periods of time; ability to answer phones and use a variety of office equipment; ability to lift 15 pounds and reach overhead. The Senior Engineer will be based at DPFNA’s Westlake Village headquarters, providing onsite application support for DPFNA and DPFEU while driving governance and stewardship of WWPF’s global Business Intelligence platforms. We’re seeking a platform-agnostic engineer with 5 - 8 years’ experience who will own and deliver enterprise-grade user experiences by combining hands-on UX design leadership with production frontend engineering, enabling workflow, analytics, and real-time conversational experiences across devices in a cloud-native OpenStack environment. The role designs scalable data architecture, multi device portability adaptive UX for different content types. maintainable solutions that avoid technology debt and can be executed on any platform or technology required to deliver business value globally. This engineer will think innovatively and constantly be seeking to challenge and improve overall application building and deployment for user centric workflows, analytics, agentic conversation and be part of the larger Innovation group delivering critical business solutions across the enterprise covering Finance, Supply Chain, CRM, Manufacturing, Marketing etc. This position requires a person that has a mindset of continuous integration and continuous delivery to meet the needs of the large global corporation. This role is defined as “Locally Remote.” Locally Remote employees must be located within a reasonable commute of our Westlake Village, CA office and able to come to the office in-person as needed with 24-hour advanced notice (no travel reimbursement). Responsibilities Primary Accountabilities: Frontend Engineering & Application Development A. Experience strategy & UX leadership (not just screen design) Own the experience outcomes (usability, time-to-complete, error rate, adoption) for workflow and analytics journeys (create → review → approve, case management, exceptions). Turn business requirements into interaction models that scale across personas (operators, analysts, approvers, admins). Create multi-device patterns (desktop-first for complex workflows, responsive adaptations for tablet/mobile, and progressive disclosure for smaller screens). Lead/partner on design system governance: components, tokens, accessibility, and interaction standards; ensure consistent application across products. B. Frontend architecture & engineering ownership Design and build modular, reusable UI components with maintainability/performance as first-class requirements. Own frontend app architecture: routing, state management, API integration, error handling, and scalable patterns for large enterprise apps. Drive refactoring and reduction of frontend tech debt without regression; establish patterns for evolving legacy code safely. Build UI frameworks for: Workflow UIs (queues, tasks, approvals, audit trails, role-based actions) Analytics UIs (filters, drilldowns, charts, anomaly views, explainability panels) Real-time conversational/agentic UIs (chat + artifacts: citations, actions, suggested next steps, session history, “handoff to human”, live status) C. Delivery excellence (quality, reliability, observability) Ensure production readiness: performance budgets, accessibility, cross-browser support, resiliency patterns, feature flags, graceful degradation. Define and implement frontend testing strategy (unit/integration/e2e), and release confidence practices. Collaborate in agile with backend/QA/product; participate in code reviews and engineering improvement. Platform & deployment (cloud-native, OpenStack-aligned) Deliver apps in cloud-based enterprise environments and support post-release operations (bug fixes, incremental enhancements). Partner with platform teams to ensure: correct containerization / runtime assumptions config management (env vars, secrets) ingress/LB, TLS, caching/CDN patterns (as applicable internally) logging/metrics/tracing for UI + API calls build scalable patterns that can be reused across Finance / Supply Chain / CRM / Manufacturing / Marketing experiences Qualifications Experience, Knowledge, & Skills You Bring: Required 5 – 8 Years of UI/UX Application development experience. Hands-on experience developing frontend applications using React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+), including functional components and hooks. Strong foundation in HTML5 and CSS3, with experience building responsive, production-ready user interfaces. Experience working with API-driven applications, including asynchronous data handling and error scenarios. Practical experience implementing client-side routing and navigation patterns. Proven ability to work within and improve existing frontend codebases. Understanding of application state management concepts. Proficiency with Git-based version control, including pull requests and collaborative workflows. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills using browser developer tools.
