Product Engineering is a unified team responsible for the engineering of Disney Entertainment & ESPN digital and streaming products and platforms. This includes product engineering, media engineering, quality assurance, engineering behind personalization, commerce, lifecycle, and identity. The Quality Assurance team is responsible for validating all work before it goes to production; this includes software, web, mobile, connected device applications, media, non-consumer facing products and more. Additionally, the Quality Assurance team creates and maintains the framework used for automation testing and is responsible for all performance testing. Responsibilities • Analyze requirements, user stories, and design documentation to ensure that they are clearly defined, complete, and testable • Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to verify new and existing (regression) software functionality • Test the applications via Black Box, Regression, Release, Stress, and Negative testing methods • Contribute both to the definition and the enforcement of quality assurance processes and procedures based on best practice methodology Qualifications • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience • Minimum of 3 years of related work experience demonstrating proven ability with functional testing, including test case development, execution and defect management • Excellent solving skills to root cause sophisticated issues • Passion for quality with a no line of code written without testing mindset • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Experience collecting, reviewing, and updating requirements and/or user stories • Experience with SCRUM and other Agile development practices. • Ability to support and drive defect management • Highly flexible to quickly changing business needs and adoption of new technologies • Ability to create and maintain documentation, procedures, and work instructions for development or operations teams • Ability to work independently and deliver on agreed upon timelines The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $84,500 to $113,300 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.

Content Platforms & Operations Content Platforms & Operations is responsible for the development and ongoing advancement of the technical and operational functions driving the worldwide distribution and monetization of Disney’s linear networks and theatrical content. Responsibilities and Duties of the Role: Calendaring, Travel & Expenses, Correspondence • Schedules appointments, meetings and locations within plan and schedule without consultation; arranges programs or events; plans and schedules work for office support; may participate in meetings as a representative of department, researches and prepares materials. • Coordinates executives’ calendars, including registration & travel. • Coordinates a wide variety of large or complex events and meetings, which may include involving multiple parties, international travel, technology and/or refreshments. • Fields, screens, redirects and responds to a wide variety of inquiries; advises on office policies and procedures; contacts individuals inside and outside of DE&E Technology on highly confidential matters. • Composes difficult/sensitive correspondence requiring high degree of initiative, judgment, originality, and knowledge. • Collects and processes data associated with visa applications. • Maintains office equipment and inventory. Meeting & Project Support • Coordinates program or project events including registration, scheduling presenters, logistics, accommodation requests, food & beverage, basic meeting and program materials, etc. • Provides program or project support; prepares materials and assists in managing timelines and tasks; manages program or project calendars. • Prepares program or project timelines and tasks; may be responsible for managing small projects in scope and impact.
