Our Global Marketing team has an opening for a talented Product Manager, Global Core Innovation to support global initiatives. This position is responsible for driving the ongoing strategy, quality, and innovation of Dermalogica’s core product portfolio. This role focuses on reformulations, core innovation, and cross functional alignment to ensure our hero products remain competitive, compliant, and consistent across global markets. The position reports to the Associate Director of Global Core Innovation and works closely with R&D, Regulatory, Operations, Creative, Education and International Market teams. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Reformulation and Product Management • Lead the development and execution of reformulations across the core portfolio, ensuring programs meet strategic, financial quality and regulatory requirements. • Own specialty core innovation initiatives including Holiday programs, and season limited-time offerings from concept through commercialization. • Lead core size extension initiatives, including discovery or value formats, managing the projects from charter through launch execution. • Initiate project workflows by issuing required documentation and ensuring clear objectives, timelines, and expectations across cross functional teams. • Partner with R and D, Operations, Creative, Education, Sales, Regulatory, and Regional Marketing to bring updates to market smoothly and on schedule. • Serve as primary point of contact for anticipating, tracking, and resolving developmental, operational, and regulatory challenges. • Ensure programs meet strategic, financial, and compliance requirements and maintain alignment with global brand standards. • Use product, regulatory, and performance insights to inform lifecycle recommendations and category improvements. • Leverage digital and AI-enabled tools to analyze data, improve workflows, and enhance decision-making across product development and portfolio management activities. Cross Functional Leadership • Build relationships with key stakeholders and external partners to drive collaboration and informed decision making throughout the development process. • Maintain clear communication and provide regular updates on project status, key milestones, and identified risks. • Proactively identify challenges and develop action plans to ensure timely delivery and successful execution of projects. • Ensure adherence to established processes and maintain accurate project documentation and version control. Education and/or Experience: • 5-7 years experience in beauty, working on new product launches and/or promotional programs that have been executed at a global level • Exceptional communication skills are a must, as is the ability to build and develop internal and external relationships • Strong analytical, leadership, conceptual, and project management skills required • Excellent written and oral communication, excellent presentation skills, ability to personally organize and set priorities, and to drive other people • Knowledge of the functions of product development, packaging design, advertising, and sales and their effect on product marketability • Demonstrated ability to analyze financial and business performance metrics to support strategic recommendations and portfolio decisions. • Strong analytical and technical aptitude with experience utilizing modern digital tools and AI platforms to drive efficiency, insights, and business outcomes. • Computer literacy in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, and the Internet Other Skills and Abilities: • To find success within this role, the candidate must demonstrate the ability to see the “big picture” and work at a strategic level, thinking independently about what will drive success for the brand. • The position requires creativity and thorough knowledge in all areas of marketing including the ability to develop and implement innovative marketing programs, knowledge of global market/consumer trends. • Attention to detail, good follow-through, and consistent professional ethic This position will be based out of the corporate headquarters in Carson, CA with applicable hybrid in-office work guidelines. The Opportunity: We are seeking a Senior Manager, Fulfillment to oversee operations at our multi-brand West Coast Hub operated by a world-class 3PL partner. This role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence across e-commerce, retail, and B2B channels by managing the day-to-day 3PL relationship, driving process improvements, and ensuring service and cost commitments are met. The ideal candidate will bring both strategic oversight and hands-on operational expertise, balancing fulfillment execution with project management to support network optimization, new capabilities, and continued growth. Roles and Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities Fulfillment & Warehouse Operations • Oversee daily 3PL performance across inbound, outbound, inventory management, kitting, and value-added services. • Ensure service levels, inventory integrity, and on-time/in-full (OTIF) delivery commitments are consistently met. • Monitor productivity and cost per order across customer channels; identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency. • Provide operational guidance and support to brand logistics leads, ensuring cross-brand alignment and equitable service delivery. • Support the integration of additional brands into the 3PL site, ensuring smooth transitions with minimal disruption. 3PL Relationship & Budget Management • Serve as the primary point of contact for 3PL leadership; build strong, collaborative relationships to deliver on service, cost, and quality metrics. • Hold 3PL accountable for SLA performance, compliance with SOPs, and corrective action on service or cost issues. • Own the budgeting process with the 3PL, ensuring adherence to productivity and cost targets. • Conduct regular reviews of KPIs and vendor scorecards; ensure billing accuracy and costs are aligned with contractual agreements. Forecasting, Planning & Project Management • Provide forecasted volumes and demand signals to 3PL partners; manage tradeoffs across service, cost, and capacity. • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., marketing, customer service, finance) to support launches, promotions, and special programs. • Project manage the rollout of new fulfillment capabilities, including defining requirements, user testing, and implementation. • Develop detailed project plans and manage cross-brand initiatives that improve fulfillment efficiency and scalability. Process Optimization & Knowledge Sharing • Identify, implement, and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce cost, and improve customer experience. • Leverage data and analytics to identify trends, forecast potential issues, and implement solutions. • Create a framework for knowledge sharing across brands and partners to prevent silos and ensure successful strategies and best practices are applied consistently. • Regularly review and update SOPs with 3PL to reflect evolving best practices and operational requirements. Performance & Reporting • Track and report on 3PL performance, including order accuracy, on-time delivery, and inventory integrity. • Establish reporting for orders received vs. forecast and aged order backlog, providing actionable insights to senior management. • Publish vendor performance scorecards and partner with 3PL on corrective actions where required. What We Are Looking For • 7+ years of experience in fulfillment, logistics, or warehouse management, including direct experience with 3PL operations. • Proven track record of leading high-volume DTC and B2B fulfillment across multiple channels. • Strong understanding of warehouse and freight cost drivers, with experience managing budgets, invoicing, and cost-per-unit performance. • Skilled in stakeholder management with excellent communication, influencing, and problem-solving capabilities. Able to act as a trusted advisor to brand stakeholders. • Strong project management skills; ability to deliver new capabilities and continuous improvements in a fast-paced environment. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and operational systems (WMS, TMS, ERP). • Ability to work independently while balancing cross-functional and cross-brand needs. • Experience in beauty, personal care, or premium consumer brands is preferred, with an understanding of high-touch fulfillment, Kitting/VAS and channel specific requirements. • Flexibility to be onsite at the West Coast Hub 2 days per week; additional travel as required.
