Position Summary The Manager – Project Reporting Controller is responsible for financial reporting and compliance for Deriva Energy’s expanding portfolio of non-regulated solar and wind assets. This role is accountable for delivering accurate and timely reporting for assigned projects and partnerships, including lender and investor requirements, financial statements, cash forecasts, and covenant compliance. The Manager will provide strategic oversight, drive process improvements, and serve as a key liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders. Responsibilities • Lead and Manage Reporting: Oversee preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements, debt service coverage filings, and trial balances for assigned projects and partnerships. • Stakeholder Leadership: Serve as the primary point of contact for financial deliverables, partnering with Asset Management and engaging with debt/equity investors, auditors, and consultants. • Cash Forecasting & Liquidity Oversight: Ensure accuracy of rolling 12-month cash forecasts to support strategic planning and liquidity management. • Analytical Review & Communication: Direct analytical reviews of project results and communicate findings to senior management and external stakeholders. • Process Improvement & Team Collaboration: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, streamline workflows, and enhance internal controls in collaboration with offshore teams. • Compliance & Technical Expertise: Ensure adherence to debt covenants and evolving accounting standards; develop deep knowledge of financing and partnership agreements. • Leadership & Accountability: Act as a subject matter expert, mentor team members, and recommend best practices based on expertise and institutional knowledge. Summary The Project Reporting Controller team supports Deriva Energy’s business. Team members actively partner with the business to support a growing portfolio of non-regulated solar and wind assets. The Lead Analyst – Project Reporting Controller will be responsible for preparing all reporting aspects of assigned solar and wind operating projects, including various project deliverables (lender requirements under project/portfolio financings including financial statements, cash forecasts, and debt service coverage ratios among other things/tasks), and interacting with various internal and external parties. This role requires familiarity with a variety of accounting concepts, practices and procedures to assist with the reporting of the assigned projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong attributes for accuracy and will be highly detail-oriented. The Associate Gearbox Repair Technologist will develop technical expertise in identifying and resolving problems related to wind turbine gearboxes and generators. This is both the entry level and initial training level for the Gearbox Repair team. This training level is intended to train for the less difficult (technical) work. When incumbents become proficient in their duties, they work under general supervision and guidelines performing routine tasks and assist higher level technicians more complex and difficult tasks. A Level 1 will have received the initial DRA training and will have completed the core concepts knowledge requirement. A Level 1 will be teamed up with a Level 2, 3, or 4.
