Supervise assurance teams and client engagements, review budgets and financial statements, ensure client communications, train team members, and coordinate resources to meet deliverables. | 4 to 7 years of progressive public accounting experience, CPA preferred, experience leading audit engagements, and knowledge of financial services industries. | We are currently seeking a focused, creative individual to become part of our management team in our A & A department. Duties would include: • Supervising assurance team and client engagements. • Reviewing budgets to gain engagement efficiencies. • Ensuring solid client communications with firm leadership team and clients to streamline engagement performance and strengthen relationships. • Training and development of team, ranging from engagement performance to new standards and pronouncements. • Reviewing engagement workpapers and financial statements based upon firm objectives. • Coordinating firm resources to meet client deliverables based upon established timelines. • Recognizing potential problem areas in specific engagements Desired Skills and Experience • 4 to 7 years of progressive experience in public accounting • CPA designation preferred • Experience leading audit and assurance engagements and the development of team • Corporate and individual tax preparation, preferred • Knowledge of Broker Dealer/Hedge Funds/Financial services industries a plus • Self-starter and team player A relaxed vibe environment with nontraditional partners and managers who think out of the box to deliver the best service to our clients while fostering professional and personal growth of our team.
