Datum Engineers is seeking a Senior Project Manager to guide the design and execution of complex building projects, foster client relationships, and contribute to the growth of our firm. About the Role As a Senior Project Manager, you will manage structural engineering projects from concept through construction. You’ll coordinate with clients, organize and guide internal teams, and lead the creation of high-quality construction documents. Project Execution • Lead all aspects of structural engineering design: analysis, detailing, coordination, and documentation. • Supervise and mentor engineering team members. • Perform structural analysis and design calculations. • Conduct site visits and construction administration. Client & Team Coordination • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and design teams. • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. • Ensure designs meet building codes, company standards, and project goals. Leadership & Growth • Guide team members’ technical and professional development. • Foster collaboration across offices. • Lead process and system improvement initiatives. • Share knowledge and lessons learned across the firm. Qualifications Education & Licensure • Bachelor’s degree in Architectural or Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis required). • Master’s degree in Structural Engineering preferred. • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas. Required Skills • Minimum 5 years of experience leading teams in structural building design. • Strong understanding of engineering principles and structural systems. • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills. • Collaborative, respectful, and self-motivated. • Ability to lead projects and mentor others with a high standard of quality.
