Washes labware; keeps labware separated by laboratory; uses appropriate procedure based on type of item and soil level; picks up, washes, and replaces labware in all labs.2. Transports, stores, and retrieves specimens/evidence.3. Launders scrubs, lab coats, towels, etc.; uses appropriate procedure based on type and biological contamination of item; picks up, launder, and replace laundry; maintain supplies.4. Picks-up and delivers mail, supplies, film, and other county business.5. Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsEducation, Experience and Training:Graduation from an accredited High School/GED Program. No experience required.Special Requirements/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Must possess knowledge of chemical and biological safe handling procedures; good organizational skills, ability to work well with others. Ability to exhibit attention to detail, organizational skills, and an awareness of the special responsibilities of a forensic laboratory.Physical/Environmental Requirements:Routinely required to work in areas with potential exposure to biological and/or chemical hazards. Must follow good laboratory practices and safety precautions including the use of personal protective equipment. Manual dexterity and visual acuity sufficient to accurately execute standard procedures; standing, walking, folding, and moderate lifting are required; driving (valid Texas Drivers License required).

Works with the staff and appropriate personnel to continually analyze and design solutions to electronic business process flow problems that arise through operations of the County Clerk’s Office, and implement effective solutions. Responsibilities • Provides daily support by meeting with end users to define business, financial, and operational requirements to resolve business process issues, and to enhance business processes, operations, and information process flow for all division within the department. Reviews and analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of existing business processes and develops strategies for improvement. • Consults with division management and conducts research and perform end-user reviews of the systems to assure optimal performance, efficiency, and effective delivery of service throughout the full operational cycle of the computer systems and the systems’ flow of processing activity. • Collaborates in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications. • Review Requests For Proposal from a technical perspective to support the purchase and implementation of software that meets the needs of the business functions. • Monitors the department website to assure accurate and current information are readily available and operating at optimal performance. • Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education, Experience and Training: Education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Technology, or in a job related field of study. One (1) year of related experience in information technology based software/hardware. Special Requirements/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Skilled in the use of standard software applications. Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, and establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, departments and the general public. Ability to identify and analyze end-user problems; ability to organize information in a logical manner and devise practical solutions to problems; ability to operate a personal computer, peripherals and basic office equipment; ability to assists Elected Officials/Department Heads with technical specifications for Requests for Proposal and Invitations for Bid. Must pass a background investigation. Physical/Environmental Requirements Physical requirements include occasional lifting/carrying of 5-10 lbs.; visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate computer keyboard and basic office equipment. Subject to handling, walking, sitting, standing, bending and reaching to perform the essential functions.
