Compensation$55K - 85K a year

Lead creative and strategic direction for social media presence and content pipeline management. | 5-7 years in social media or digital marketing with fashion, beauty, or youth brands, skilled in creative concepting and data analysis. | We are Cotton On  Cotton On is an Australian-born fashion and lifestyle brand bringing a laid-back, optimistic Aussie energy to more than 20 countries with 180+ US stores. We make everyday dressing feel easy, fun, and accessible, and we use our scale to make a real difference through the Cotton On Foundation. In the US, we're growing fast and building a marketing team that can turn a major global footprint into real brand love with Gen Z, Gen Alpha, and families.  The person who owns our social presence is at the centre of it. If you're pop-culture obsessed, love building community, and want your work to actually mean something, you'll feel at home here.  Your impact @ Cotton On  We're looking for a Manager, Social & Content to own the creative and strategic direction of Cotton On's US social presence, and then execute it. That means leading the channel, running the content calendar, identifying what's moving culture and acting on it fast, and making sure the feed reflects a brand identity that earns attention rather than asking for it.  Benefits You’ll Love  * 50% team member discount across all brands  * Competitive pay  * 24/7 wellness support  * Performance & Peak incentives  * Medical, Dental, Vision & more for you and your family  * 401(k) matching + financial wellness support  * Development opportunities with room to grow  * Quarterly COG Awards & real-time recognition    About the Role In this role, you will manage Cotton On's US social channels across TikTok, Instagram, and emerging platforms, owning not just strategy but the day-to-day. You'll build and manage an EGC creator pipeline by identifying compelling store talent and turning real Cotton On people into brand storytellers. And you'll partner with our global brand and social teams in Australia to stay close to the big brand story, then translate it into ideas that feel right for the US customer.    The right person for this role is deeply curious, fluent in social trends, chronically online, and equally comfortable setting direction and getting hands-on with briefs, edits, and performance reads. You think in equal parts creative instinct and data. You are a player-coach.  Day to day, you'll  Own the channels  * Own and manage Cotton On's US social channels day to day across TikTok, Instagram, and emerging platforms, including posting, scheduling, community response, and real-time reactive content.  * Lead the creative direction of the US feed: tone of voice, platform behaviour, content cadence, storytelling standards, and what the brand sounds like when it shows up.  * Brief, review, and approve content across short-form video, stills, stories, and reactive formats, making sure everything is native to the platform and right for the brand.  * Stay genuinely plugged into what's breaking through in the feed (trends, sounds, formats, cultural moments) and move fast when something matters.  * Develop a social content system that balances trend responsiveness with a consistent brand point of view.    Build the pipeline  * Build an EGC-led creator pipeline by identifying store associates in key US markets with on-camera presence and strong social instincts, turning real Cotton On people into credible brand storytellers.  * Support freelance and contract production resources as the function scales.  Manage content across Women's, Body, and Men's. Kids is its own team with its own manager.    Connect organic to paid  * Identify organic content with paid potential and partner with the paid media team to package winners for amplification, quickly and with clear creative context.  * Track performance and translate insights into sharper briefs, stronger creative decisions, and better cross-functional alignment.  * Use platform analytics and creative performance tools to drive decisions, not just document them.    Work across the brand  * Partner with the Influencer & Creator Partnerships team so brand content and creator content feel like one world, not separate programmes.  * Work with the global AUS team to adapt campaign direction and assets for the US customer and US platform behaviour.  * Receive brand briefs from the Head of Marketing and turn them into content plans that actually land on the feed.    This role is for you if you,  * Live on TikTok and Instagram the way the customer does and you naturally track what's breaking through before anyone's written a trend report about it.  * Think in equal parts creative and data-led concepts and can see how content connects to business results.  * Are as comfortable pulling a performance read as you are creative concepting and you use both to make the content better.  * Enjoy being a player-coach: leading and mentoring while still writing briefs, reviewing edits, managing the calendar, and posting when the moment calls for it.  * Have 5 to 7 years across social media, content, or digital marketing, including time in-house or at a strong agency with fashion, beauty, lifestyle, or youth-focused brands.  * Have a track record of social content that has moved product, driven sign-ups, and delivered clear outcomes.  * Managed creators, editors, coordinators, or freelancers and know how to give feedback that makes the work better.  * Bring strong aesthetic judgment that feels polished, energetic, product-forward, and culturally aware without trying too hard.  * Are Decisive under pressure and adjust plans fast when platform behaviour or culture shifts.  * Are comfortable in analytics and reporting tools and naturally turn numbers into actions, not just recaps 24.   PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS   *  Ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. * Ability to travel as needed (up to 20%) *  Comfortable moving equipment, product, or props as needed for shoots.   Who are we?  Cotton On’s purpose is to make a positive difference in people’s lives.
