Position Summary We are seeking a Travelling (state to state) Building Automation Controls Technician with strong experience in commercial and industrial mechanical systems, particularly chilled water systems. This role is critical in helping our customers maintain system uptime and integrity during building automation system (BAS) retrofits. Ideal candidates will bring solid mechanical expertise with chillers and HVAC systems, while we provide training on BAS and control technologies. Qualifications Qualifications: • Minimum of 5 years' hands-on experience diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing: • Chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, and pumps. • Expertise in servicing chiller systems and troubleshooting mechanical performance issues. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and mechanical/electrical schematics. • Strong working knowledge of: • HVAC mechanical systems including Chillers, VAVs, VFDs, Pumps, and Cooling Towers. • HVAC system design, operation, and troubleshooting. • Demonstrated experience working in large facilities (e.g., universities, schools, office buildings). • High school diploma or GED required. • Trade or technical school coursework highly desirable. • Technical certifications are preferred but not mandatory. • Experience with installation or maintenance of Building Automation Systems preferred. • Familiarity with the Niagara Framework®, N4 certification, or BACnet protocol is a plus.
