This individual will perform financial analysis and reporting activities to support short-term and long-term strategic plans and operating budgets. Their ideal candidate must be a well-rounded individual who has progressive FP&A experience and is currently in an inventory-based company. Perks: • Hybrid Schedule – 3 days a week • Dynamic Company Growth • 401K Company Match Responsibilities: • Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management. • Lead financial planning and analysis efforts to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency. • Excellent understanding of the month end process including, but not limited to, the preparation of financial statements, accruals, and journal entries, maintaining reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts in an established corporate format and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. • Monitor and report on KPIs to track business performance and identify areas for improvement. • Play critical role in supporting strategic decisions through financial insights and thought leadership. • Lead the preparation of financial reports and presentations for management and Board of Directors as necessary. • Manage the fiscal period closing process for assigned customer portfolio to ensure that revenue recognition and variable cost are recorded compliantly and communicated timely. • Support process simplification to improve our external customer focus and risk management. • Build and leverage deep understanding of business objectives, issues, and root causes and provides insightful, fact-based data analysis to help solve complex financial dilemmas. • Support and develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization, including executive leadership. • Actively participate in problem solving initiatives to determine root cause, gap analysis, along with the development and implementation of process improvement recommendations. • Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of various reports provided to internal customers; as well as supporting ad-hoc data and information requests, as required. • Assist with ad hoc strategic and operational projects as required. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar degree required • 5+ years of management experience required • Apparel, CPG, or any product-based industry required. • Systems Experience such as Power BI, Anaplan, Adaptive, SAP, MS Dynamics 365, NetSuite, Sage 300, Acumatica, Oracle, Workday, MS Business Central, JD Edwards, MS Dynamics GP or Intacct all deemed good.
