As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking a dedicated expert focused exclusively on Naphthenic Mineral Oil and Dielectric Fluids to drive direct-to-end-user sales and eliminate reliance on brokers. This corporate role reports into our McKinney, TX headquarters but is fully remote with moderate travel requirements. Position Overview The Senior Sales & Technical Specialist will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) in Naphthenic Mineral Oil (dielectric/insulating fluids). This individual will combine technical expertise and strategic sales capability to expand direct relationships with end users across industries such as: • Electrical utilities & power equipment manufacturers • Adhesive and sealant manufacturers • Chemical producers • Concrete form oil manufacturers • Specialty smoke oil producers (airshow industry) • Industrial lubricant manufacturers The goal of this role is to move beyond broker-based sales and establish long-term direct customer partnerships through technical consultation and product expertise. Key Responsibilities Technical & Industry Expertise • Serve as the internal and external expert on Naphthenic Mineral Oil / Dielectric Fluids • Provide technical guidance on: o Oil clarity, color, filtration, and particulate removal o PCB contamination regulations (post-1978/1979 compliance) o Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) considerations o Oil recycling and reclamation processes • Analyze oil samples and advise customers on product applications and suitability • Support filtration and purification strategies to restore oil to like-new quality Sales & Business Development • Develop direct-to-end-user sales channels, reducing broker dependency • Identify new applications and vertical markets • Build strategic relationships with electrical, manufacturing, and chemical industry leaders • Manage both buying and selling of specialty oil products • Support major operations in: o Atlanta, GA (primary growth focus) o Phoenix, AZ o Coffeyville (Central region) o Waco, LA & broader field service territories Collaboration • Work closely with district leadership • Support field service teams • Partner with corporate leadership on growth strategy Required Qualifications Mandatory Technical Expertise • Deep knowledge of Naphthenic Mineral Oil (non-motor oil) • Experience with: o Dielectric / insulating fluids for transformers & electrical equipment o PCB removal and regulatory compliance o Oil reclamation and filtration processes o Base oil chemistry Professional Background (One of the Following Preferred) • Experience with competitors in this niche market • Chemical Engineering or Chemistry background with base oil expertise • Research laboratory experience with specialty oils • Industrial lubricant or electrical fluid manufacturing experience Skills & Competencies • Ability to interpret technical specifications and laboratory reports • Strong consultative selling skills • Ability to explain oil clarity, contamination, and filtration solutions • Self-directed and capable of working remotely • Comfortable with 15% travel Compensation & Incentives • Base Salary: $110K – $140K • Uncapped Commission (typically 25–30% of base annually) • Car Allowance: $500/month • Phone Allowance: $100/month • Corporate-level opportunity with expansion growth potential Interview Process • Two interview rounds maximum Job Type: Full-time Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year Work Location: Remote
