| About Clearspace Clearspace is building the intentionality layer of the internet. Our mission is to build technology as effective at protecting human attention as social media is at exploiting it (infinite scrolling, short-form feeds, manipulative notifications, etc). Our category defining mobile app has been featured on Huberman Lab, New York Times Wirecutter, NPR Marketplace, Forbes, TBPN. People that want a better relationship with their devices have nowhere to turn except for willpower. We are building an agent that achieves this on all devices by processing and filtering network traffic based on natural language rules. About The Role We are looking for an ML-focused engineer that will be responsible for training and improving a model for classifying network traffic. You are great for this role is you are not only excited about the latest and greatest tools in AI and ML but are also a problem-solver in the data domain. You don’t just think about the model but “how can we get more data volume”; “how can we featurize the data intelligently”; “what are our data needs based on our task and desired model size”, and like building backwards from inference requirements. Responsibilities Own implementation of production model that classifies network traffic Create tooling for data gathering Work directly with the founders to define research direction Move fast and autonomously Qualifications Bachelor or higher Computer Science or related engineering degree Experience in training production-grade sequential models, particularly on time-series data Willing to work onsite in San Francisco Nice to Have Specific experience with network traffic Graduate research experience

About The Role We are looking for a lead designer with strong aesthetic intuition and an obsession with designing through every inch of the user journey. You will be asked to bring pixel perfect designs to life across several different platforms, if you don’t love the process of designing this is not the role for you. You will be talking to users often and asked to speak to the overall brand direction at Clearspace. Responsibilities Design agent-first UI/UX patterns for the Clearspace platform Create a design system that spans across mobile, web, desktop Work directly with the founders and shape product direction Move fast and autonomously Qualifications 1+ years of professional product design in a consumer context Experience creating a design system from scratch Willing to work onsite in San Francisco Nice to Have Have had or considered Creative Director roles Have examples of creating beautiful things outside of designs (physical art, video, music, etc)
