Support Americas-wide operations with inventory management, demand forecasting, and network planning to maximize business growth and customer experience. | Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years supply chain experience including 1-2 years analytical role, AI knowledge, strong problem solving and communication skills. | General Summary This position is responsible for supporting the Americas-wide Operations function covering inventory management, demand forecasting, and network planning to support America's business growth and, maximize customer experience. The function acts as voice of Operations in the region. Essential Job Functions Backlog Management • Communicate product lead times based on regional supply-demand analyses and/or allocation provided by Global Planning • Communicate regional product availability to regional Order Management and Commercial team • Participate and create analyses for meetings with Commercial organization • Monitor customer backlog and forecast consumption at the NA subsidiary, alerting Global Production Planning and Supply Chain Planning teams when over or under consumption occurs Demand Forecasting • Support Americas-wide and Global Distributors demand forecasting process • Provide input and validation of forecast with subsidiaries on products, parts, and consumables • Participate in regular calls with global teams on supply review and to determine if improvement can be made to support demand supply disparities • Create and measure KPIs to drive accuracy and effectiveness Inventory Management • Provide input to the organization on inventory, supply, and strategies of existing items, new products, and product phase-outs. Own the development and implementation of these strategies, including Global lead for Product Parts Catalog (PPC) enablement and webstore. • Review, recommend and own inventory replenishment needs in alignment with Global Planning and Inventory Team Knowledge/Educational Requirements • Bachelor's degree in business or related disciplines • 3-5 years supply chain experience with 1-2 years in analytical position • AI knowledge and implementation experience • Result oriented with strong problem solving, organization and planning skills • Excellent communications skills in English, both verbal and written • Strong team player working collaboratively across functions • Good work knowledge of data analysis, and performance metrics using business management software like Salesforce, CRM, Power BI Salary Range: Starting at $95k This job description is not all inclusive and is intended to capture a majority of the job functions. The Sr Director/Director of Repair centers is responsible for leading multiple regional service centers in repairing and refurbishing, parts and systems. Developing and creating new service centers and identification, tracking, and business cases for additional parts. In addition to the above responsibilities, the Sr. Director/ Director, Global Service Centers will be expected to (1 ) work with the other directors for regional service centers in execution, adherence to candela priorities, and driving utilization of repaired/refurbished material minimizing cost, (2) develop standard operating procedures and consistent metrics and the creation of a funnel process for business cases related to repaired/refurbished material and (3) establish metrics to monitor process efficacy and adoption. Essential Job Functions • Responsible to ensure the highest level of quality for repaired/refurbished across NA, EMEA, and APAC. • Creation and validation of business cases for repaired and refurbished systems, consumables, and parts for direct and indirect markets. • Develop strong business partnerships with Candela Operations team, regional service centers, and Field service teams for forecasting parts, system needs, to support commercial sales and service contracts/warranties Globally. • Development, implement, and execute Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for consumption of repaired, harvested, and refurbished material globally and present findings to key leadership • This role will have ultimate responsibility for performance of each Service center working through the individual Directors, and establishing standards to measurement and monitor the performance of repaired, refurbished, and harvested material. • Develop business cases, capabilities, and cultivate business objects for refurbished systems for sale in global markets. • Accountable for the creation of yearly cost savings targets partner with Global sales and operations for the forecast of refurbishes systems and service parts • Creation and partnership with commercial sales teams on return trade-in systems, development of a checklist or method for identification of new repair parts both as part of new product introductions or existing spares/systems. Knowledge/Educational Requirements • 10+ years experience within repair/refurbishment centers and/or logistics • 10+ years experience in KPI development and implementation • Proven experience identifying and leading financial and operational improvements within Service businesses • Proven experience in performance / talent management, a must • Leading teams within healthcare or medical devices, a plus • Experience with Microsoft Excel and with a CRM tool required, Salesforce and Smartsheet This job description is not all inclusive and is intended to capture a majority of the job functions.
