This role will be responsible for using data-driven insights to develop and own paid search strategies, manage media budgets, drive campaign execution, and work cross-functionally to achieve growth and ROI objectives. You understand the full search landscape to identify opportunities where paid and organic search can work together to maximize performance. We are seeking a creatively strategic Senior Growth Marketing Manager with a strong focus on Paid Search including Bing and Google Paid Search, Demand Gen, Performance Max and YouTube campaigns. This role will be responsible for using data-driven insights to develop and own paid search strategies, manage media budgets, drive campaign execution, and work cross-functionally to achieve growth and ROI objectives. While this role is focused on paid search, we’re seeking a candidate that is aware of the greater paid digital ecosystem including broadcast, streaming and OTT advertising, paid social, affiliate marketing and their potential impacts on paid search performance. The ideal candidate has a passion for problem-solving, a data-first mindset, and excellent communication skills. You will be part of the Growth Marketing team—a collaborative group of marketers working to expand brand awareness and generate demand for California Closets through conversations with the customer. Optimizing their brand experience from awareness through first contact with us. Base salary for this range is $130k - $150k + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. This is a remote position, however there is occasionally travel required about 3-5x per year. Responsibilities Ownership role in the planning, management, and execution of all California Closets Paid Search campaigns, including but not limited to account setup, development and implementation of strategies, campaign structure, budget management, bidding strategies and invoice and billing management Experience managing budgets more than $10M, with an aptitude for managing market-specific billing details and reporting these charges to internal finance teams Actively direct and manage a digital agency to define, execute and measure marketing campaigns to maximize efficient customer growth for existing and new paid media channels, including paid search (SEM), YouTube video and display, programmatic, and retargeting Actively direct and manage digital agency efforts to conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and audience targeting to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks Have a true love of data and problem solving. Know what data to pull to obtain needed insights and be skilled at interpreting the data and knowing where and how to dig deeper to uncover anomalies, unexpected outcomes and key performance insights Review paid search and YouTube campaign performance by market/DMA and work directly with local business owners & managing operators to adjust strategies to align with their business specific objectives Meet and exceed monthly volume and ROAS targets by driving continuous improvement and experimentation of new optimization concepts and tactics Meet regularly with agency and platform account teams to assess account performance, and to ensure optimal solution adoption while continually evolving strategies in tandem with the rapidly shifting paid search landscape Partner with digital agency to monitor new opportunities within the Google and Microsoft Ads platforms to test and optimize accounts As the driving force behind our YouTube efforts, you’ll create a data-driven YouTube advertising strategy that compliments California Closets overall business goals Conduct in-depth post-campaign analysis, test plans for new user acquisition initiatives, and measure performance to identify testing opportunities across paid search and YouTube Collaborate across levels and functions within the Growth, Tech, Operations, Solutions and Brand teams to support company growth initiatives Develop creative and innovative solutions for how to leverage paid search and YouTube for customer acquisition with a willingness to test new strategies and tactics Derive critical insights from data (front-end performance metrics from search engine platforms and back-end California Closets actions) and synthesize recommendations to deliver improvements to campaign performance Proven ability to seek cross channel insights by conducting attribution analysis to understand how the market specific media mix impacts paid search performance, regarding new/returning visitor volume and quality Proactively seek ongoing education with the very latest industry trends and advancements in paid search, AI and all other aspects of modern digital marketing Ensure that your efforts and those of 3rd party partners adhere to the latest corporate privacy and data governance policies Qualifications 7+ years of Paid Search experience managing and optimizing campaigns in Google Paid Search and Microsoft Ads. Hands-on experience managing and optimizing YouTube video campaigns. Google and Microsoft Ads certifications. Advanced proficiency in Google Analytics (GA4). Strong skills in Excel (macros, charts, pivot tables) and Tableau or similar BI platforms for data manipulation and visualization. Proven experience with A/B testing and iterative campaign optimization. Detail-oriented with a passion for creating processes to manage multiple campaigns and track location/franchise-specific strategies. Ability to use data and metrics to solve problems, support assumptions, and identify opportunities. Track record of exceeding performance goals through analysis, problem-solving, and strategic execution.
