Job Description Overview: Assists the Maintenance Operations Manager or Maintenance Supervisor in the daily maintenance operations for a multi-unit residential property. Performs and assigns tasks to repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment, including heating and air conditioning. Performs or assigns general, advanced or specialized maintenance functions depending on property needs. + Leads a team of maintenance technicians on daily maintenance operations with a focus on achieving efficiently run maintenance projects and operational functions. Ensures the preservation of the property and its value. + Repairs and maintains machinery such as motors, pumps, belts, and fans; boilers, chillers, water heaters supervision. + Repairs and maintain mechanical equipment, including heating and air conditioning. This includes overseeing the operation of heating and hot water boilers, make-up units and booster pumps. Diagnoses problems. Disassembles units, cleans, lubricates, repairs, and replaces parts, filter changes. + Performs routine to difficult carpentry duties, including installation of new doors and installation or repairs of doorjambs, moldings, hinges, door closers, locks, knobs, shelving and counter installation, ceiling tile/grid repair and installation, etc. Routine turnover duties of vacant units. + Performs routine to difficult painting duties, including drywall or plaster repair, painting, etc. + Performs routine to difficult plumbing duties, inspecting, installing, repairing and replacing pipes, fittings and plumbing fixtures, unclogging sinks and toilets, repair of faucet, assemblies and replacement of washers, repairs or replacement pipes, repair of fountains, etc. + Performs routine to difficult electrical duties, including inspecting and testing lighting, wiring and power circuits, replaces faulty switches, and replaces faulty lamps and ballasts. Requirements: + This position requires a High School Diploma/GED. 3-4 years of experience can offset minimum educational requirements for this position. + 3-4 years of required experience at Commercial or Multi-Unit Residential Property. + Preferred certification for this position include: HVAC (depending on property), Electrical, or Plumbing. + This position may require a valid driver’s license depending on the needs of the property. + Required skills for this position include: self-motivated, team-player, communication, interpersonal, attention to detail, personal accountability, and customer service. Perform financial analysis, valuation modeling, and support strategic investment decisions for hospitality assets. | Bachelor's degree in finance or related field, 3-5 years investment banking or real estate investing experience, strong analytical and communication skills. | ## Key Role Overview This Associate role on the North American Hospitality team supports oversight of Brookfield's hospitality investments and provides financial analysis and modeling to drive strategic decision-making across the portfolio. The position involves valuation work, forecasting, transaction support (acquisitions, dispositions, refinancings, recapitalizations), and collaboration with internal teams and portfolio companies to maximize asset value. ## Key Responsibilities - Prepare quarterly valuation models, review investment performance track record, and assess changes to returns and asset valuations. - Prepare quarterly internal submissions and valuation presentations for Senior Management. - Support strategic analysis and portfolio investment decisions through financial modeling, including hold/sell models and recapitalization analysis. - Support disposition activities including obtaining Broker Opinions of Value, creating investment committee recommendation presentations, and managing sale processes. - Support recapitalization efforts by developing financing offerings, preparing investment committee materials, and assisting with negotiation and closing. - Assist with property transactions (acquisition, disposition, refinancing, management change) and analyze impacts on accounting and valuations. - Contribute to managing lender relationships through performance analysis and creation of external presentation materials. - Play an integral role in onboarding and integrating new assets into asset management and the broader hospitality platform processes. - Participate directly in quarterly forecasting and annual business planning, preparing business plan materials for private and public teams across Brookfield. - Coordinate with third parties on external valuations to support quarterly valuation needs. ## Required Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, real estate, or a related field. - 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, M&A, real estate investing, and/or private equity. - Exceptional analytical, financial modeling and valuation skills, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power.
