Requirements: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Qualifications: • Current and valid nursing assistant certification in the State of Illinois. • Previous experience in skilled nursing, preferred. • No abuse records. • The ability to read and write. • The ability to understand and follow written and oral directions. • Ability to communicate and work well with residents and staff members.
Supporting security and safety operations within a healthcare facility, including monitoring, incident reporting, and emergency response. | High school diploma or GED, valid CPR certification, CPI certification, and PERC card preferred. | Description: Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonable within the scope of Lydia Healthcare and /or any subsidiary entities. • Assist the immediate supervisor with various administrative tasks to support department operations as directed; may also be assigned special projects. • Perform tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or redesigned depending upon individual circumstances. • Completes other duties as assigned. Monitoring and directing visitors to the unit/assigned area. o Following facility emergency procedures and checking that staff on the units are following all such procedures; assisting various shifts on fire safety protocol; performs routine safety checks as directed. o Assisting floor staff in behavior management. o Reporting all incidents and unit issues to the Security Manager/QMHP/House Manager/Administration. o Checking for maintenance issues and writing maintenance requests as needed. o Monitor Consumers who leave facility, verifying applicable Pass Level (i.e., Pass Level A/C). o Respond appropriately to all real time incidents or emergencies, emergency drills and active alarm situations. o Patrol the interior of the perimeter of the facility to observe and identify potential safety risks, security risks and undesirable conditions o Uses appropriate CPI techniques when necessary, and understands to return immediately to the assigned post upon completing this task Requirements: Must possess a minimum of a High School Diploma/GED. • Must possess valid CPR certification • Must maintain valid CPI certification. • PERC card preferred.
